Hello everyone, from launch day, charging it via cable or MagSafe with the 80% limitation activated. The charger that was used is the official 20w.

My 15 Pro Max from Nov 23 was at 90% with 542 cycles. I replaced it, because with my usage yes I noticed the degradation. $100 bucks well spent in my eyes. Also for the record no intent to upgrade from this phone until performance becomes notably degraded.

Hey guys,
I use iPhone 15P very actively, sometimes charging it twice a day. I almost never let the battery drop below 20%. I’m still on iOS 17
My question is: will updating to IOS 18 affect my phone’s battery life? Will the battery last longer or drain faster after the update?

I’m doing a test run to see how many battery cycles and what percentage I can get to by September 2025. If I do not like what Apple launches, I plan to get a battery replacement and keep my 15PM for another year. I have no complaints except the battery life.

Please update your phone. Staying on the old OS is haphazard and pointless.

Dont baby the battery buy apple Care for 2 years and get it replaced shortly before the 24 Months are over. Then use ist for 2 or 3 more years or sell it after exact 2 years with new battery.

What are you doing with your phone (and this is just out of curiosity). With these numbers you achieve more than 2 complete cycles per day - constantly.
Hotspot, Camera and some Games and High Brightness. When its was new it was only around 1 Cycle per Day maybe 120%. Now its 250% per Day because the Runtime is very low. I tested 1 Hour Video recording it went from 100% to 40%
