Launch day 15 Pro.

15 Pro Max received on launch day.

Maximum Capacity: 98%
Cycle Count: 70
Manufacture Date: July 2023
First Use: September 2023

I have used the 80% charge limit since I got it. I usually only charge once per day and that’s in the morning as I’m getting ready. I use between 20-40% battery each day. Since I don’t use a lot of battery I figured the 80% charge limit would be better, but it dropped to 98% pretty fast. Probably right around 30 charge cycles. I’ll most likely switch to the 16 Pro in the fall so I won’t know if the 80% makes any difference in the long run.

Used since launch and I have no idea how many charging cycles it has had!

I've more to be concerned about than if I've lost a x amount of percentage battery health in so many months.

Ill be replacing it come September and it will easily last until then.

I wish they'd remove the battery health setting in all honesty, it seems every day there is someone asking about this. That's just me though

Have to agree, I too have more to be concerned about, this is just a small annoyance, but one that shouldn’t happen so quickly.

I wouldn’t miss it if they got rid of battery health.

15 Pro Max, purchased in the beginning of January.
According to Coconut Battery:
Battery Health 100%
Design Capacity: 4422mAh
Phone Current Full Charge Capacity: 4496mAh
Cycle Count: 38

I have IOS's optimized battery setting enabled and I try to use wired(45W Anker Charger Cube) charging over the MagSafe(my personal experience/belief/opinion is that MagSafe does have a negative effect on battery health) charger at my desk.

Just checked the real battery stats and the current max capacity and BH have crept up ever so slightly on my 15 Pro.

Using the 80% charge limit with an Anker 30w charger.

Maximum Capacity: 100%
Cycle Count: 122

I do plug it into a fast charger every night.

(I had maybe a handful of days where I knew I would be in fringe coverage areas with no charging options, so I did charge to 100% manually.)

Release day 15 Pro charged overnight, every night using a Nomad base charger and topped up if ever needed using my MacBook fast charger. No change to any of the battery settings.

Cycles 170

Health 100%

So I just noticed my battery health dropped to 99% today after it had been holding steady at 100% (nooooooooooo) So I was curious to see what you guys had as cycle counts and health

***For the "stop obsessing about battery crowd"... Yes i know relax yourselves this is just for pure curiousity and entertainment... I am not actually upset about my battery hitting 99% so please calm down***

It's set to optimized...

Doesn't seem very good. The only thing I can think of is that I use it as a hotspot a couple of times a week.
