Its always something different with these panels like
I’d rather have a display from Samsung still, than one from LG. 👀
They just want to create a fear to consumer so many third resellers gonna buy on masses I don’t believe anything to Tim Cook for some reason he’s also called the cooker baking fears
I plan on going for one of the less popular, boring (black/grey or white/silver) option anyway, so whatever.
I should've mentioned I'm on my second warranty replacement and my current phone is probably a year and a half old. I’d think a majority of the 12s are probably in the low 80s to 70s range by now.

Believe it or not White/Silver iPhone was a popular option last year. It was out of stock for almost 3-4 months. The stock of the Silver iPhones started to show up around January. I know this because I was tracking the iPhone almost every day and they were always sold out/unavailable.
Apple should limit the iPhone 15 Pro Max only to those with an iPhone 13 or older.
So, if some one with an iPhone 14 Pro Max comes in with an expectation to get a 15 Pro Max, you say to them, 'please leave, your phone is good enough, give others a chance' 😆

I typically get the black, dark grey line myself anyway but this time around will be the 16 ProMax keeping my 14 ProMax with a 100 % battery condition for another year and it wil be my backup phone rather than trading it in. I know you had issues like some with battery condition declining too fast mine has been good so I am willing to stick with 14 ProMax another year or so.
I'm somewhere between ho-hum and sad trombone Womp-womps.
Silver was so unbelievably supply constrained last year they had me choose between the gold and deep purple because they literally did not know if or when silver units would come and could not give me an estimate
Next year’s rumors will say that there will be a shortage of iPhone shipments due to supply constraints caused by the camera assembly. Calling it!

Noooo! The Silver iPhone is so nice and elegant looking. I wonder how it’s going to look under Titanium since stainless steel isn’t going to be used. It should really make it scratch resistant.

But if Apple makes an orange iPhone, I'll buy it immediately.
Titanium is extremely lightweight but very strong but it’s surprise to some people that it's a soft metal, so yes titanium scratches.
🙏 I pray that Apple and LG Display have come up with a better solution for the pish-poor and harsh PWM that has been present on all the earlier OLED iPhones - for the sensitive folks (like myself). 🤞 Pro Max will be ordered.

The Apple PR machine is firing-up the ol’ “limited supply,” to drive the hype. Apple knows exactly how many of each device they will have. Many of the components are already Mande and are just awaiting final assembly.

Apple is running into difficulties with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max display manufacturing, which could lead to a limited number of devices being available at launch in September.
Rumors have suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have slimmer bezels than the iPhone 14 Pro models, and it is this decrease in bezel size that is creating issues.
According to The Information, Apple suppliers are using a new display manufacturing process to shrink the bezel size, and it is causing problems with displays made by LG Display. Apple had a similar problem with the Apple Watch Series 7 display size increase in 2019, and that device was delayed by about a month.
The LG displays are failing reliability tests during a process where the display is fused to the metal shell. Apple is tweaking the design of the LG display so it can pass the tests, and it still has displays from Samsung that it can use for assembly.
The Information does not believe that Apple will delay the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, but will instead have fewer units available at launch, leading to shortages. The manufacturing issue will hit the iPhone 15 Pro Max the hardest, and it sounds like it will be the device that will be most difficult to get at launch.
It is not unusual for at least one iPhone model to be in short supply, and there have been launch situations where the iPhone models sell out entirely and people are left waiting for months for Apple to ramp up production and meet demand. In this situation, Apple will likely see its profit margins impacted and its holiday quarter revenue lower than expected.
Earlier today, a report from Bank of America global securities analyst Wamsi Mohan suggested that Apple's iPhone 15 devices could be delayed by a "few weeks," but he did not provide a reason for the delay. It sounds like he heard hints of the display manufacturing issue and figured it would lead to a delayed October launch, but The Information thinks Apple will still launch in September as expected.
The Information claims that the iPhone 15 Pro models are now at the "risk ramp" manufacturing stage at Foxconn, with the company testing how reliably the devices can be built without defects. Mass production is expected to begin in August.

It should be called " Apples blackhole innovation "
Because it's the leading reason I won't upgrade. The 14PM I own is terrible to watch content and play games. It's a horrible idea for an issue that didn't exist that they created.
Yea the dynamic island is terrible. OLED Android phones for $500 that have solved the under the screen issue. And you get at minimal a pin hole. I wish they just made the notch thinner.
