You don't see the benefit of of having a high transfer rate on a 1TB device? Do you know how many hours it takes to make a local backup or transfer large files over USB 2.0? I do not support Apple's wireless pandering.

My PCs are Windows you can't Airdrop to a non Apple device. My one Mac doesn't have the storage capacity to be a middleman my phone has four times the storage.

iPhones have extremely fast storage that is completely bottle-necked behind USB 2.0. It's like saying I'm going to buy a PCI 4.0 nvme drive and drop it in a USB 2.0 enclosure.
I think this says more about your choices, than Apples policies 😏
Have you not heard of iCloud for windows?

Oh good, I was likely getting the Pro Max this year for the periscope lens. Don't really care for the screen size but whatever I guess. At least with the other rumor of it starting at 256GB this year, it should be a wash, right? I typically only need 256GB with iCloud. I currently have about 110GB available.

When Samsung charges more than an iPhone and gets people to pay up, you know Apple is standing there behind a tree like that guy in the meme just salivating.

What does iCloud have to do with airdrop or transferring a large files to and from a iPhone? So instead of a high speed physical connection I should upload a 500gb video to iCloud on a capped internet connection then download it to my windows pc? That sounds very pro to me.

iPads have usb 3.0 because of gasp local content transfer speed. They advertise using iPhone to film large videos but don’t give you what you need to get the file off the iPhone in a timely fashion. Oh you’re filming someplace with poor cell service? Guess iCloud isn’t going to help.

The amount of people defending Apple on cutting corners on a $1500+ “Pro” device is insane.

Maybe Xfinity/Cell carriers give Apple kickbacks to force people to rack up overages on ingress/egress from their phones.

Price increase justified apple must maintain their profitability and help us share holders as well . Folks who can’t afford it just finance the phone threw your carrier . “THIS IS THE BEST IPHONE YET” 😂😂🤓

Hoping for the UK price to stay the same or even go down by maybe £50 due to a much better exchange rate compared to 12 months ago.

The iPhone has become essential tool for so many. I rarely see touch button iPhone these days, most of the iPhones out there I come across are iPhone 12 or later. Thats astounding for hardware platform that has not dramatically changed since the iPhone X. I can bet you the cycle will repeat itself, many iPhone 14 users will upgrade, but so will many on older models too.

Here it comes again , , Some complain of price increase; look around everything gets more expensive so the iPhone 15 as well (Apple is no welfare company)! Many complain now but then you buy a new car its also a higher price-tack on it but non complain and its ok . . .
My iPhone 14 pro Max 512GB was 11.899 HK$ - 1,521 US$ - 1,195 BP - 1,397 Euro and after trade in my 12 Pro Max for 4,150 it was 'only' 7749 HK$, guess was good deal.

Agree, I paid for my iPhone 14 Promax without renting. We have 3 iPhones in our household. One that needs to be updated because of IOS. The other is being updated to 15 in Sept. The other iPhone will be leased as iPhone 15. because the cost is involved. I own Apple shares of the company so I don't mind. In Japan, we pay a lot more than the rest of the world.

that's what happens when you go green & put all your eggs in China's basket for manufacturing 😏

If it's 0%! then you're not all that clued up on finances 😏
And here I thought I was financial challenged when I dropped 20k in cold hard cash to to buy a car I wanted. When someone offers me interest free finance, I always take it.

Honestly don't even see the point in advertising how "great" the cameras are. The cameras, even on the pro max, are a joke. They look all blurry when you zoom in and low-light quality still sucks. The Google Pixel blows the iPhone series out of the water in the camera department, but even on that phone, the quality still sucks.

If you want to take high quality photos, use a real camera.

Haha you are concerned about adding $1000-1500 to your liquid assets. I see. That was all I needed to know. I never own my phones for more than a year. I trade them in and move along. The only way you are going to recoup max value on your phone is by selling it to someone on the street for max value. Have fun with that! I'll gladly eat a few hundred on trade in just so I don't have to spend time dealing with reselling my phones. I end up saving in the long run because time is money. Anyway, enjoy your financed phones and signing into an agreement to make installment payments...on a phone. 😁
I don't see what the fuss is about. There is a tranquility in not tracking monthly instalments. Convenience has a price, especially for the wealthy.

Have been expecting this to happen. Will not be surprised if Pro is $1099 and Pro Max is $1199. $100 increase. Hopefully the base storage increases to 256 GB.

Damn, I was waiting for the 15 but TM had this insane trade-in promo that they offered $850 for my 7+. I could not pass. I love the 14 Pro Max.
