I’ve tried multiple brands of screen protectors. They all have bubbles on the edge
My one and only screen protector install on my 15 pro went on flawlessly without bubbles or any other imperfection except for that tiny bit of black border cuttting into the bottom left corner. Torras.

Contact their customer service for this situation maybe? This is the Torras Diamond Shield screen protector for my iPhone 15PM, edge to edge coverage is all good, other brands are expected to arrive next week.

I just bought a 15P for my girlfriend and bought some different screen protectors for her. I will compare them when they arrive.
Thanks! - I spoke to customer service and they are going to let me try a new set. Let us know what you find with the ones you ordered on the 15 Pro. I wonder if the phone screens themselves have tolerance differences with the curvature. I would assume it would be the protector vs. the screen itself though.

Which have you tried? Torras?

Interesting, nice! I wish I had the same experience as you with my Torras. You didn't get any of the edge halo on your 15 Pro (not max) that I called out in my picture above? For some reason, both of my install attempts had it to varying degrees. That makes me think I may have gotten a bad pack. I also actually noticed that my pack did not have any plastic seal and the ones that I ordered for a 13 did (also Torras).

-----

Does anyone believe that the actual screen of the iPhone 15 Pro and variation with its curve tolerance could be the culprit behind an install with a thin line of detachment around the inside ("halo") of the black edge of the Torras (vs. a bad batch of protectors)?

Spigen (my goto for other iPhones) AM Film. I don’t want a screen protector with a black border so I won’t be trying Torras.

Okay so seriously, am I the only one with this problem? the more I think about it the weirder it is. To recap earlier posts, after multiple attempts to put a Belkin Ultra glass protector on my phone, two different apple stores concluded that the glass on my iPhone must not be flat in the top right corner. Every protector they tried, wouldn't stay down in the same spot (top right).

My opinion is that this issue is with the phones glass. Slightly off tolerance.
If it were me I would do a warranty swap. It’s so early in the life cycle that you will get a brand new phone instead of a refurbished even though they don’t come in a retail box (comes in a plain white box).
A few phone cycles back (maybe iPhone 7?) I remember there were some issues with screen protectors and it ended up being the glass tolerance. Back then many more people were complaining.

I just tried Walmart ONN Brand of screen protector. It has bubbles on pretty much every edge. More of a uniform bubble I’m sticking with this one.

Since it was at the Apple Store did they offer a replacement at all or did they just say it must be the glass and that was it?

The guy suggested that as a possibility, at the time I thought that would be over kill for a minor problem but the more I think about it I’m considering it.

In my time of owning iPhones I have never seen this many issues with screen protectors. It is clearly the design of these phones this time around. The way I look at it - it’s either deal with bubbles on the edges - don’t use a screen protector or return the phone if you can.

You may have already said this so I apologize if I missed it but have you tried other protectors than the Belkin one? Are we sure it's not just those?

After inspecting the underside of the Torras Diamond Shield protector, the edges don't appear to be curved. This is my first time with a black-edged protector on a curved screen. I assume the black edge's purpose is to obscure/hide the surrounding areas where the flat glass does not adhere properly due to the curve (rather than attempting to adhere to it securely). When looking at my photo again, it seems like maybe the black edges are too thin to cover where the adhesion is not in place due to the curve. I know Torras has the some of the thinnest edges compared to others, so maybe it's a finicky tolerance issue on where the adhesion starts to fail? As you can see, the lifted areas are pretty thin and consistent.

If it's an iPhone-related screen glass tolerance issue, I'd like to get it replaced as soon as possible. Is there any way to test for or verify this?

The zagg one also. It was the same top corner.

But why? It looks like a protectors with black boarders are way more edge to edge than standard ones

Is that the Torras diamond shield? It could be the photo but it looks like yours has more of a gap than mine, it looks way off on the top specifically. And mine has none of those areas with the haloing on the edges. Straight on you can't even tell it's applied.

Not edge to edge but if you don’t want bubbles on the edge get the Best Buy Insignia screen protector.

I currently have the Torras on my 15P. Using the camera method.. looks like its eating in a TINY bit in the bottom left corner. I can't notice it really unless I do this trick. But, I got in the WSKEN's in today. Now I'm sitting here asking myself.. is it worth the reinstall effort?

Probably not worth it until there is a 100% issue free protector available. My torras install is exactly like yours. Tiny bit of cut off on the bottom left and i just learned to forget about it for now especially since my install was perfect.

I went and grabbed two more packs of the insignia 15 pro max screen protectors at Best Buy.

I have the Apple Store installed Belkin protector. I’ve had it for the last few iPhones(13pm not included, because near me they couldn’t get them)

I think you should try changing one. I bought this one for the 15 Pro as well. I'll keep you updated about this. And it might be caused by the actual screen of the iPhone 15 Pro, which makes sense, but it's hard to prove it.
