Does it stick around the edges all okay? Am I right in thinking it has a black border? Cheers
It seems to stick fine. Not a great photo but here you go. Yes it does have the black border.

ESR regular is a very very close fit to the edge - I was a teeeny bit off so my left side is 100% perfect exactly at that edge and right side maybe 96-97% - slightest bit away. If you get it perfect you probably would probably be at 98-99% perfect on both sides.

I know the 13 is only like 1 mm wider than the 15P, but think what I'm seeing visually is that difference rather than the black ESR border covering actual viewable screen...its strange bc with no case on and both screens off even that SLIGHT difference can be seen.

Thank god you get 3! That would drive me to distraction ha ha. Was that using the frame?

Yup I used it - I knew right when it suctioned it was a teeny bit off but it really is so minor and with my case you really can't tell (and I'm super crazy picky about this stuff.) I think this 1-3% is just MOE with glass, done 1000 of them over the years and its usually ever so slightly off to one side but almost not detectable.

I'll check when I mess this glass up and switch them if the borders are the same...

And it adhered perfectly all around?

Hi, was this the normal ESR one or the heavy duty one, do you have any images at all? Tried an alternative make today and will not adhere to the edges, usually use ESR but was led by a promotion!
Which one did you try?

Yes 100% perfectly. Pushed some air bubbles out easily. It is much better than the usual $6-$10 packs I normally get. You can feel so right out of the box - also the accessories and packaging is better too. It feels a bit thicker, much more premium and glossy if that makes sense, not like the others that always felt like cheap plasticy glass

Note - this is the regular ESR.

Same problem here with ESR (Armorite version) and yes I used the frame. My right side is off very slightly. Not sure there is much more I can do and I don’t want to risk it because I think it might be a very slight design flaw…

I know exactly what you mean, I can't count the times where I have despaired of the normal ones ha ha. Set up is looking impressive, I went with the clay case in the end and avoided the new fine woven versions completely! Like the green

Could be, but I am pretty sure there is a small amount of wiggle room with the frame. Like you could drop it a smidge to the left, right, or get lucky and do it right in the middle. It's more minor than the times i've done a bad job with the cheapo ones in the past though. With a case it is okay - even knowing its there and it bothering us geeks haha :)

That clay is nice! I am in love with the natural color phone. I think i'm sticking with this green case for now but have a bunch in the pile lol. And yes, those $8 3 packs were just so sad and thin feeling, this is MUCH MUCH MUCH better even a teeny bit off :)

So this representation by ESR for the basic protector on Amazon is incorrect/misleading then?

I’ve used the spigen EZ fit and it doesn’t extend far enough into the bezel. Made it super tricky to place correctly despite the guide (my first was way off on one side) and then there’s a rainbow haze at the edges which is really annoying. The pictures don’t do it justice as it’s a lot tighter than it actually looks. They are usually brilliant but I’ll try another brand - maybe Torres as that’s got the black outer edge to stop the haze?

Now seeing all these photos, I think I'll skip the Spigen ones, and im thinking between ESR and Torras. Any thoughts?

Nice!!!! Thanks again for all of your help, genuinely is appreciated. ESR is definitely the way to go by the looks of things as Spigen appear to have cut in really tight too the viewing area too!

I was torn between Spigen and ESR following the incident with the AM Films version but having just seen the images, I think the ESR seems the safe and most cost effective way forward

there seems to be 2 different variants of ESR screen protectors...Armorite and "standard"?
can't find the difference between them, and which one is better. Does someone know?

I grabbed both but used the Armorite first. Supposedly the armorite is more durable…

is the Armorite bigger in size (edge-to-edge) or thicker than the normal one?
