there seems to be 2 different variants of ESR screen protectors...Armorite and "standard"?
can't find the difference between them, and which one is better. Does someone know?
I have the standard and it is 10x better than the usual thin cheap ones. I can't imagine how much better it could be but yeah the armorite ones is suppposed to be the higher level.

I was torn between Spigen and ESR following the incident with the AM Films version but having just seen the images, I think the ESR seems the safe and most cost effective way forward
I wasn't expecting too much but was like wow - this is the nicest one I've seen (though I never bought more $ ones in the past) - go super slow when applying and if you get it down right in the middle you will be near perfectly flush. Im sticking with these from now on for sure.

I decided to let the Apple Store install the Belkin UltraGlass 2 screen protector with their machine while I was there. The first two tries he missed. I didn't even have to ask. He refunded immediately and reached for another protector. He did mention the new machine is harder to prevent anything from getting under the protector. The third try was the charm. left a happy guy. The feel of the Belkin is excellent as well.
I know this sounds silly but any scratches on the iPhone titanium frame from the Belkin machine? I remember seeing some talk last year about scratches. Thanks.

I purchased these and they are great. Exact fit to the screen, no issues. And they are under two dollars.

Bought and installed these today and yeah, they're fine. Edges are curved and no issues with picture quality. The alignment tool isn't fancy like the ones on the Spigen, Torras or Amfilm, but it works. $2 for a three pack is a no-brainer. These cover all of the visible screen.

I just put on the ESR Armorite screen protector on our 15 Pro Max phones and the side edges are definitely covering part of the screen...
Damn. That’s definitely disappointing. Let me know if you find one that works.

Installed a Flolab on my 15 Pro. Perfect fit and an easy install with the tray provided. Highly recommended.

It's not covering it by much, but it's noticeable when on apps that have rounded windows (edges cut into the sides, corners are no longer rounded and are cut).

Yeah I’m noticing the same issue with mine. How can they sell them as iPhone 15 screen protectors when they block parts of the screen with their black border? What’s the point if the black border anyways? Wouldn’t it be better it was all clear?

I'm guessing the edges don't fully sit on the glass since the screen is curved. Some think it's better to cover up what isn't working then to expose what's really going on hahaha.

is the Armorite bigger in size (edge-to-edge) or thicker than the normal one?
The normal one was not edge to edge. It went straight across the top without cut outs for the speaker. I compared it to the Torras which was slightly taller that went higher up to the speaker with cut outs

Torras went on perfect, and its slightly taller than the ESR when i compared them. Still doesn't go edge to edge like i thought it would.

Can anyone show pictures of the belkin ultra glass installed ?

This is the same with the Armorite. I just saw your other post of your Torras and it looks much better than the Armorite I have... I just made the order and will be returning my ESR screen protectors.

What stand is that? Could you provide the link?
It's this one - just wish it was a known/reputable brand, everything else about it I like!

I put on the ESR Amorite and I think the black edge is definitely covering part of the screen. There’s a weird visual thing on the left side where text looks like it’s under the black edge. Like I’m looking through a thick pane of glass. I had an ESR on my previous phone and didn’t have this problem.
Right now looking at the keyboard, the right side is ok but the left side the black edge is right up against or even covering part of the Q.
I guess I’ll try installing a second one and see if it’s misaligned but it’s unusable as is.

Those pics of the Torras look better. Think I am also going to return and buy that one.

Same thing with our phones and the Armorite screen protectors. Mine got centered perfectly so both sides are covered a little. My wife's phone got covered on the right more. The left side of her phone isnt covered, but the right has more covered than the right side of my phone. There's definitely a little wiggle room on the applicator tray thing... I saw a video of a guy do an install of a Torras screen protector on his Pro and it looks better. Hopefully it is! Mine doesnt come in until Sunday so I'll have to keep using the Armorite until then...

I have the Torras and there’s the slightest hint of that parallax effect on the edges, but that might be just because I’m used to not having screen protectors and that’s just the look of the extra layer of glass.

That said, I have complete visibility of my entire keyboard. Neither my Q or P keys are cut off in any way by the black border. Everything else about the Torras has been great so far and the installation was super easy. Hopefully yours is just slightly misaligned and can be fixed easily!

You can see the slight difference here, there is space between the P and the edge, the Q is right up against the black. Its a tiny amount but very very noticeable when reading the screen.

Yeah, that would drive me crazy too. I didn’t get that with the Torras installation, it came out even on both sides with equal space between the edge and the letters (about the same amount of space between your P and the edge).

Yeah just took the ESR off and that overlap on the left is gone. Tried a second one and now the overlap is on the right. There is just no give with this, it’s not wide enough. No more parallax on the left, but it’s on the right. Returning.
