That’d be really nice, I really hope so !! For some reason, we’ve not yet seen any Product (RED) Pro iPhone..I really hope Apple brings enough courage back to introduce an iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max in Product Red.

It looks great indeed, however, being the first iPhone made out of titanium… I’m not sure how the paint will resist the wear of years of usage. That’d be really nice, I really hope so !! For some reason, we’ve not yet seen any Product (RED) Pro iPhone..
That rumored dark red color does look very snazzy and elegant !! ✨

Justifying $3000 because of a cable?I'm upgrading to this just for the USB-C port. I'll also upgrade my wife's phone. No more lightning cables!
Right?! Everyone says "optical" zoom but I pretty sure they just mean a longer prime telephoto lens. As far as I know the Sony Xperia IV is the only smartphone camera that has true optical zoom capabilities where the lens actually move to adjust the focal range. The rest are just primes. It's a big difference.a 6x optical zoom might swing me, but I am not yet convinced it will be optical (and just for clarification: what we have today on the 13/14Pro/Max is digital zoom)
You don't have an eSIM in HK iPhones. Only 2 phisical sim cards. Having them with eSIM would be such a win, but Apple just getting rid any holes in the phone, that's itI agree with you completely. Having the SIM card tray there as a necessary option is important to those of us who travel. In some parts of the world, you simply have no choice but a SIM card. In other parts of the world, they make it super difficult to get an eSIM. I know it seems like it would be easier, but the fact is it’s not. I will travel to Hong Kong and get the dual SIM version this time. The great thing, it’s an iPhone and eSIM also works and can hold up to ten eSIMs in addition to two physical SIMs and can turn on whichever two cellular lines want at any time.
What Apple is doing to Americans with the iPhone 14 is ensuring the carriers make money on bullcrap international roaming fees that US carriers make more in a day than using a foreign carrier for sometimes over a month. I have traveled to Cambodia and used a $10 SIM for two months with unlimited data, calls and texts.
I've yet to see a pre-paid plan being cheaper in any country than a contract.
Normal users don't need it, but the pro's do, for quicker transfers when they use ProRes & Pro RawI don't use the lighting port never on the 14-iPhone pro max. I covered the lighting port with a silicone plug. I only have a Mag-safe charging pad and a Mag-safe battery. I care less about the USB C port. Frankly speaking, USB-c is not needed. When I get a new iPhone in a few years it be selling them port less.
For me the Mini is compromised because it's not a Pro, 5.4" is just too small to make it a pro.I still hope Apple would release Mini version at least once every 3 years or so. Now that we're moving to 3nm, the battery life should be improved further, which was the biggest problem with the Mini.
Maybe next SE will be based on Mini design.
The Sony zoom lens will be in the 16 MaxRight?! Everyone says "optical" zoom but I pretty sure they just mean a longer prime telephoto lens. My pre paid Verizon account here in the US is at LEAST 1/3 less than a contract plan. So now you have heard of it.I've yet to see a pre-paid plan being cheaper in any country than a contract.
I can't imagine buying a phone to "upgrade" - that's just a silly marketing construct. You buy a new phone when you need a new phone, not because of the latest features. Just like with cars. They may introduce new features and options every year, but you buy a new one every 4 years or so, just like with phones. I think the idea that people are looking for compelling new features in a phone to justify buying one every year is absurd.
oh believe me it was the norm back in the 2010’s.
I really hope the schools in some first world countries would teach people how to use an apostrophe correctly.eSim's are the future, progress can not be held back, by poor infrastructure in some third world countries, it's up to those country's to improve their networks, anyway, 95% of iPhone users are not into pre-paid plans and international roaming is available with most reputable network providers in Europe and America.
Looking at the age of your equipment, I doubt it's the eSim that will stop you upgrading 😊
Its used in accessibility features like door detection etc, not just for you to take pretty pictures and then moan its useless because you've no idea what else its there for. Other phones don't have it, other phones are still playing catch up with voice over and other accessibility features too, so that's hardly a surprise.I’ve tried taking pics while covering it up and my phone focuses just as good.
Name another phone that uses lidar, and explain why many android phones take better pics than an iPhone, without lidar, and tell me it’s useful.
Useless. Apple could use the space and money to give us better sensors instead.
I really hope the schools in some first world countries would teach people how to use an apostrophe correctly.
If I have enough money, I will upgrade my car every couple of years.I can't imagine buying a phone to "upgrade" - that's just a silly marketing construct.
