Here’s my current collection. Returned the Benks; it’s a nice case but mine had tiny defects in the corners and finish that were bugging me.

They all show some fingerprints, but less than the black aramid with the smooth finish that you’re familiar with (shown below on the left). A quick wipe down in the morning with a slightly dampened microfiber cloth takes care of it for the rest of the day for me. YMMV.

Are they all metal camera rings?

returned my uag pathfinder today. They were nice enough to do a one time courtesy and accept my return. I told them the truth, which is I’m not using the case. I just don’t like the way it feels the grip is condescending to me where I have other cases that feels so good that I wanna keep using my phone because of it lol I also figured it to help me justify getting the MOUS case and I’m totally gonna see if that camera control button can be put into my GEN 6 lol

Those are metal? Felt like plastic to me when I had one. Not knocking it at all by saying that by the way lol
They’re aluminum.

Case closed. Pitaka must be more honest than Benks’ vague material descriptions lol
They had a mix last year, but Pitaka is using only metal camera rings throughout their lineup this year. Not sure why Benks isn’t more clear, can’t tell if it’s subterfuge or simply poor copy writing… lol.

Off the Benks and Pitaka subject. Have you tried the PR Flex? If so any thoughts? Haven’t seen too many people rave about it this year.

Im really disappointed with Caudabe.

Last year there were short comings to in other areas but they gave us that action button. And revised it and perfect it.

It’s a shame they are not doing the cc button. Maybe they know their cases are perfect in every other areas.

I even tried the scratched Otterbox Symmetry with cc button for an hour or two but Sheath is Sheath.

In other news I will never buy a clear case again. Worst thing ever to go on an iPhone.

I tried one last year but didn’t keep it. It’s kind of cool, but in my opinion at 46 grams it needs to be much lighter for what it gives up in protection. I’m more likely to give the Arc Pulse a try before trying another Flex.

I share your disappointment with Caudabe. I bought the Sheath for release day delivery. Hating the cutout, I returned it a few days later.

With the great BF deals, I re-bought the Sheath. I really missed the feel of that case - just about perfect for me. The celestial blue is just about my favorite case color ever. And I'm not using the camera button all that much, after all.

Reluctantly, after a week with the Sheath, it's out. I still hate the cutout. I'm back to the Apple Silicone case for its perfect camera button cover.

I'm too embarrassed to return the Sheath for a second time. But it's now fallen to third position, after the Apple Silicone and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T. I've also got the Spigen Tough Armor T, but the recessed camera button cover is almost as annoying to me as a cutout. It's in fourth place.

Maybe the Phone Rebel with camera button cover will be my final case. But I'll let the early adopters go first, and wait for their reviews.

This is where I'm at right now. I have a flex that I haven't opened yet and am debating about returning it due to the weight. But it does give some decent protection from what I've seen.

Just not sure if I can live with the design of the Arc - I go back and forth on whether I kinda like it or not.

I do have the benks arriving this week so I'm hoping I like it and it's sort of a good in between solution.

Yup, the drop protection on flat surfaces seems very good.

I’m exactly the same way. I’ll look at it one time and think it looks pretty cool, then look at another time and think it’s tacky as hell… lol. I will probably have to try one and see how it feels in actual use.

These aramid cases are so thin that they sort of disappear on the phone. I didn’t get that from the Flex, and I’m not sure I’ll get that from the Arc Pulse - we’ll see.
