Two quicke Q's, as haven't had time to skim through the (now 239!) pages, lol.

As of today (Mon 23 Dec 2024)...

1. Leather cases:
Are there any available with CC buttons yet? Nomad and Ryan London are supposed to be doing them <some date!>, but any others I've missed? (TBH, I'm quite surprised that just two companies are doing them!)

2. CC button itself:
Are there two types of button being put on CC button cases... if so what are they called and what are the differences between them - eg. is one preferable over the other, or is one better functionally?

1. No leather cases with buttons yet. Bullstrap is a maybe but not confirmed. RL is still promising. Nomad has gone quiet.

2. There are two general types of buttons; copper rod and PCB. PCB is superior.

The wikipost should be pretty much up to date.

Tinee Owl in the house: it’s like a sheath but cheaper. CC button works fine. No issues and less than $20. Finally a decent CC case with grip.
Have you got a link to these? I can find them on the UK site (which will import from the US) but they’re not the CC cover version

Loving the look of my new Spigen Chronos. I originally ordered the clear case but it was too much white on white for me.

Amazon Uk link only Stone colour, but the delivery date looks like it's sent from the U.S. anyway.

Andar send me a 30% off code in the mail. If anyone needs it just let me know.
I know it's been almost 2 weeks since this comment so it's probably gone, but if you still have the code, I'd love it and appreciate it. I'm about to order from them. Thanks either way!

I had held off for forever ti upgrade from my iPhone 11 because of this horrible CC button issue but I finally bit the bullet and have been loving the phone.

Still the case options are frustrating. I’m currently sporting the official Apple clear case but still check this thread for new options. Something I didn’t expect was how many of the cases don’t have a base model 16 option and only have cases for the pro. That’s made the search even more frustrating with less options.

But for now the case I have is decent enough and should hold me over until there’s more options. I tried Flo Lab’s case with a cutout but it felt awful. They mentioned when I returned it that they’re working on cases with actual CC buttons but had no info on release date. Thought I’d mention it though for people in a similar situation to me who are on the lookout for better options. Everything else about the case was great which made it all the more frustrating!

those with the sheath, am I going to be disappointed when I get mine? Just mainly regarding grip, the CC doesn't bother me too much

Long time Sheath user here, though I didn’t buy one this year. The grip has always been pretty good, and many people love the texture (myself included), while others feel it’s too aggressive (it’s personal preference). My complaint is that it has gotten progressively heavier each year, to the point that it now weighs 50 grams for the 16PM. For comparison, the Apple Silicone is 35 grams and the Pitakas are in the low 20s. For me 50 grams is too heavy for a “minimalist” case. That said, if the weight and the cutout aren’t issues for you, I’d say there’s a good chance you’ll like it.

Was concerned it wasn't sat right, it needs good contact after all, but another guy says the same so am a little gutted if true.
It's not like I can get one from Amazon for quick delivery and return to try it, takes a while to arrive from Benks and then would probs have to pay return costs.

Yes my Aurora Pro I tried did the same thing. I just went back into my ArmorAir and haven’t looked back. I didn’t care for the TPU feel to it either the ArmorAir feels nicer in hand IMO.
