Yes my Aurora Pro I tried did the same thing. I just went back into my ArmorAir and haven’t looked back. I didn’t care for the TPU feel to it either the ArmorAir feels nicer in hand IMO.
You have new updated Aurora ArmorPro with button?
Just checking as my post above was commenting on TechnicalTee's YouTube video Sal09 mentioned where he shows the updated button Aurora ArmorPro not working well at all and it looked to me like it wasn't put back in correctly after popping it out.

It’s starting to seem like the highly anticipated second wave of cases with excellent camera control buttons is not going to materialize.

According to the Spigen website the Ultra Hybrid T (w camera control) is coming soon for the regular 16 (already available for the Pro & Pro Max)

One month they said.

It appears the CC button is just a thin layer of poly with no capacitive material built in - does it look that way to you?
Yea, that's what it is. Looks like another pass to me. Wouldn't that be something if all we needed was a thin slit button to solve the CC button dilemma ;) Guess this is one step up from the wide open hole.

I do not think PR or Caudabe CC button going to be any better.
Agreed. Apple, Spigen, and Otterbox still have a complete lock on it. I’m following this topic out of curiosity, but at this point I’m fully converted to open sides/no buttons, whether that’s Pitaka/Benks/Latercase, Süti, or Arc.

I’ve said it before, but if the IP17 goes full capacitive as rumored, these smaller case companies are going to be in a world of hurt.

Yeah. Ive been using my scratched symmetry all day and i must say the cc button is flawless. No lag at all.

No it was the AuroraPro with cutout. The one with button isn’t released yet. I’m going to pass on it and the Prestige as well. I’m fully satisfied with ArmorAir Aurora. Only one that catches my interest is the Prestige in ArmorAir form but I wouldn’t entertain it unless it came out on Amazon. I prefer not to buy direct from Benks.

I think I will stick with my Spigen Ultra Hybrid T for now. I see no compelling reason to buy any of the available or so far announced cases with a CC button cover. 🤔 It’s a shame that by Apple introducing this new button it’s been a right old mess trying to buy third party cases that actually compare to Apple’s own offerings other than Spigen and Otterbox. 🙄

I’ve been having a hard time finding any IPhone 16 cases in Canada that are more protective than just a simple plastic but it has a camera control button. I got a Supcase unicorn beetle grip, but it’s just out of the box already had some scratches I can’t imagine how it’ll look like in a few months… plus it looks and feels so flimsy and I doubt it really protects your phone if you drop it… I love Otterbox defender type cases, but this new “cut out” is ridiculous. I would appreciate any recommendations on iPhone 16 (not Pro/Max) cases.

As far as I know, the Spigen Tough Armor T AI is the only case in the mid to heavy duty category that has a good camera control button. If you decide to go with the Spigen, be sure to purchase it either on eBay or Amazon as it’s much more expensive on the Spigen website.

I wish! 🙄 But Tough Armor T AI with a camera control button is only available for iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max, not for a basic iPhone 16!

I don’t know of any other cases with the CC button cover for the regular iPhone 16’s. I think right now they’re mostly only available for the Pro’s. It does seem strange though that the ones for the Pro’s are not available for the regular iPhone 16’s.

Not sure if they’re also in Canada but a few from the front page list that are also available for regular 16s are:

TAC
Meifigno
dBrand grip
and of course Apple’s cases

I had the same issue even in the states. Then the issue was amplified by wanting one that showed off my white iPhone color too. If that wasn’t a factor I probably would’ve kept the Meifigno tinted black case but I went with apple’s clear case instead. Not perfect but gets the job done and checked the most boxes for me personally.
