I don’t know of any other cases with the CC button cover for the regular iPhone 16’s. I think right now they’re mostly only available for the Pro’s. It does seem strange though that the ones for the Pro’s are not available for the regular iPhone 16’s.
It’s a mystery to me too. If you made some changes to your existing line of cases, why not to have them available for any iPhone 16s? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Not sure if they’re also in Canada but a few from the front page list that are also available for regular 16s are:

TAC
Meifigno
dBrand grip
and of course Apple’s cases

I had the same issue even in the states. Then the issue was amplified by wanting one that showed off my white iPhone color too. If that wasn’t a factor I probably would’ve kept the Meifigno tinted black case but I went with apple’s clear case instead. Not perfect but gets the job done and checked the most boxes for me personally.
Unfortunately none of those brands are sold in Canada with the exception of Apple’s cases definitely, plus TAC and Meifigno, both are plastic cases again, and it’s something I’m trying to avoid by all means. Lol 😂. dBrand looks tempting, but again dBrand is using the same capture button technology with copper conductors as a Supcase, plus with the shipping fee, most likely duty and taxes, and USD to CAD exchange rate, we’re talking about $120+ CAD case… I’m not sure if it’s even worth it…

nah no case is worth that much imo especially with that CC button

i don’t have the dbrand case but do have a supcase and to me the cc button is perfect. i don’t ever shoot videos where i ever want to zoom in or out as an effect. apparently the supcase doesn’t work so good for that. but to open the camera, to half press, full press, swipe, etc it works perfectly. if you haven’t tried one and are going off what others are saying, well i disagree. i’m looking forward to the new cases with cc buttons as i do not like the cutouts. i’m sure they’ll all be good, dbrand, benks, come on magbak.

anyone try the new colors of beats cases? still a fingerprint magnet?

You’d think so as it’s the same material. Just different colour. But I think the new pink will hide the smudges better like the summit stone

i bought a blue one for my son in law for christmas. don’t know about finger prints but it looks great.
Someone posted some pics a few pages back and it looks great. Shame they don’t seem to be selling it in Australia :(

I decided to not buy a dbrand Ghost 2.0 because of the copper rods. I had a very cheap button with copper rods from Ali and they really underperform, compared to the PCB sticker I have now.

I had a Spigen Ultra Hybrid T before. But it was the clear case and I didn’t like the sticky feeling. Those are just my warm, sweaty hands. So I decided to buy a Frosted Black. That way I won’t have to deal with the scratches anymore, the texture of the back will feel less sticky too. And I won’t have to clean off the finger print smudges 3 times a day.

I guess we all have different tolerance levels for the functionality (or lack thereof) of these camera control buttons. For me, the Supcase and other copper rod style buttons are far from perfect. It would be great if the buttons on recently released cases from dBrand, Benks, and others are of equal quality to Apple’s and Spigen’s, but early reports seem to indicate otherwise. Really, what these companies need to do is copy the Apple and Spigen buttons instead of using off the shelf designs that have already been proven to be inferior, though I realize this may not be possible given budget constraints, lack of in-house design capabilities, etc.

That frosted UHT has to be the case of the year. Great fit, good buttons, decent grip, low fingerprints, perfect CC button, all for $21 shipped.

If you take the CC out of the picture, what’s the general preference between Pitaka and Benks?

Personally, I prefer Pitaka. I like their designs, and in my experience they have tighter quality control and a more refined fit and finish. It’s a subtle difference though, so the higher price may or may not be worth it for everyone. There are plenty of happy Benks people here…

If you take the CC out of the picture, what’s the general preference between Pitaka and Benks?

Two generations ago, the Benks cases were better than Pitaka. Pitaka was using rubber button covers and the TPU sides were loose compared to the Benks which used metal buttons and tighter tolerances. Last gen, they were on par, Pitaka stepped it up with new metal buttons, tighter coverage due to their molding the aramid around to the sides and more different color/pattern weave designs. Last gen aramid shells, the Benks were better because they covered top and bottom, while the Pitaka left them open. This generation, Benks cheaped out and stopped using metal buttons on the base ArmorPro but followed Pitaka with the aramid going on the sides too. At the same time Pitaka is focusing too much on different patterns and an ugly rebranded logo. In regards to the just the regular aramid shells, they are about the same and it just depends on the pattern/color style now since both brands now cover bottom and top. I'd say the overall quality is almost the same, with Pitaka having a minute lead in quality. The question really is, do you think paying 30-40% more for 5-10% quality difference worth it to you. Some people do, some don't.

That’s a week done with the tinee owl CC and it’s a great case. No issues at all. Maybe the CC button can be a bit more sensitive but that’s a minor gripe.

Personally I don’t like frosted cases and much prefer clear cases which I’ve been using for the past few years. I don’t have any issues with the clear cases regards scratches, fingerprints and stickyness. I’m happy with my clear Ultra Hybrid T. I would like to have a solid colour case with a CC button cover but none of the ones currently available appeal to me.
