Ghost 2.0 - Rainbow city on the Apple logo 🤢🤢

The CC button is pretty good but the fingerprints and rainbowing effect are off the charts 🤢

I knew this case was going to suck :(

So far.

Camera cutout is average, has a magsafe mark straight out of the box lol
Not deep black like the wallet.
Also bowed out of the box.
They still can't get a smooth finish where the leather meets the plastic on the back top and bottom and now CC.
Sides come away from the phone easily so bad where the CC is.
After 10 mins on going back, thin and flimsy could easily bend in half.

Verdict! not worth $79AUD

They make great wallets but iPhone cases nope.

Once used apple silicon hard to go to a case with a cutout am finding.

Just got a TineeOwl in after seeing a few posts on here.

The good
  • Decent fit. Not the slimmest, but not overly bulky
  • Little dots on the side help with grip
The bad
  • Sorry, but the camera control button is outrageously bad. Swipes frequently don't register. A hard press makes the case feel cheap. It's an utter disaster. I'd rather have a cutout than this trash button.
  • Rest of the case doesn't have much of a texture and feels cheap
  • Buttons are not good. Volume buttons are OK, action button is terrible
  • Design on the inside of the microfiber is tacky. Not that I'd ever see it since it's on the inside of the case, but still tacky nonetheless.
For $18 on Amazon, I guess I could live with it if I had to. But I don't have to, so I'm returning it. At that price point, I'd much rather get a Spigen case. Way better quality than TineeOwl.

I’ve put my case on without a skin and it had no rainbow. I’ll agree that the CC button isn’t perfect but it’s not bad
The Ghost 2.0 case's CC button isn't bad at all. There's a weird click when I use it, as if the button is hitting the phone itself (which is probably what's happening), but the button is really responsive. I really like the case overall.

Far cry from the TineeOwl I got, which has an absolutely trash camera control button. For all of you complaining about cutouts, I'd rather have a cutout than a camera control button that actually hinders functionality. Mindblowing how bad it is. If Amazon didn't have a great return policy, I'd be so pissed right now.

Interesting. I don’t find the CC button unresponsive on the TineeOwl that I have. It’s not quite as good as Apple or Spigen, but not much worse. There must be some QC inconsistencies.

I’m interested by the Ghost 2.0, but the loose CC button that all the reviews mention sounds like something that would annoy me a lot.

The Apple Silicone and Beats still have the best CC button. If it wasn’t for the lint, the Apple Sili would be the perfect full coverage case in my opinion. As it is, I alternate between it and the Arc depending upon what I’m doing and how much coverage feels right.

The Ghost 2.0 button doesn't annoy me at all for whatever it's worth, and I get annoyed by things like that. It works well. I like the case a lot overall.

Not sure what the deal is with the TineeOwl's button, but the one I got is just terrible. It doesn't feel like a QC issue. It's just poorly designed. Maybe I care more because my main case has a cutout and not a button, so operating the button is usually flawless since I'm interacting with the button on the phone itself. If a case with a button can't deliver a similar experience, it's not good.

Even if the rest of the TineeOwl were great (which it's not), I'd still return it due to the camera button alone. It's unusable.

My wife can't have Arc Pulse, she used to have Apple Silicon cases, but every time it start peeling off. This year for iP16 she has clear case and so far so good. CC button is great, no peeling off, holding steady 😄

All leather iphone cases feel cheap compared to bullstrap. Their leather is the best. RL on the other hand, isnt.

I wish Bullstrap would release an update with CC. Their leather cases are the only ones I buy now. That warranty matters to me with 2 replacements per year.

Got couple of Rokform cases. Ordered the new slim case and it was a nice case, just scratched too easy. Customer service was AMAZING and sent me a Crystal Rugged instead, and let me keep the Slim. Been enjoying this case quite a bit. Magnets are INSANE, use it at work all the time to put my phone out of harms way on a panel or anything metal. Very comfy case, looks slick, and protective. Only con I have so far is, it’s a tank weight wise, 80+ grams for the Pro version and if you put the black magnetic plug in the center for more magnetic strength, it gets the weight up close to 90 grams 😯but I can handle it.

I keep switching from the Benks Armor Pro and Ryan London case. The Benks is so nice. Thin, protective, good camera control button.

Sadly only iPad pics because my phone is my best camera but hopefully that gives ya an idea.
I see your's doesn't have the MagSafe ring showing through the leather?
Was it bowed out of the box?

Mine must be faulty.

Just ent a query and photos to Bellroy, got a reply back in 10 mins, was asked to send reciept, shipping details.
With in 30 mins they have sent a replacement, even though I bought from Amazon.

Can't fault their service.

Was on the Caudabe subreddit last night and came across an interesting reply from them... Could this mean they are getting close to releasing cases with a CC button? Maybe after their "Winter Sale" ends on 2/16?

They said the same thing months ago, so it seems unlikely. If they do add a CC button to one of their cases, rumors have it that it will be the Paragon, not the Sheath.
