See mine doesn’t rainbow and the CC button is really good. It shifts a tiny bit but works very well. I guess there must be a quality control issue with it. Seems to be a common theme this year with a lot of cases, unfortunately.

I was curious though, is there a screen lip or does the phone rest on the screen protector? Reports were confusing, some saying they fixed the initial release and added a lip, others saying there is still no lip. Thanks.

Apple silicone case is very light and very thin and has camera control and MagSafe seems good as well. Sad thing is you don’t have that much colour options.
You can’t change button colour or camera ring colour.
So which phone case is better than Apple silicone with camera control?

I do use the CC button although not extensively but even if I didn’t the cut would bother me especially as I’ve been using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T since launch which has a CC button cover and it works really well.
I ordered one of these out of curiosity and because I’m bored with cases. I’ll be back soon to complain about the cutout and fingerprints. 😂

I don’t know why I keep trying these cases with cutouts. Every single one has been a bust. Today it was the Pitaka “Military Grade” (aka Pro), which lasted a whole 3 minutes on my phone. It looks great coming out of the box, but for me the issues are many. The metal buttons rattle, the screen lip is just barely there (not nearly enough for a “military grade” case), the cutout is uncomfortable (I’m left-handed so it may be less so for others), the rubber strip above the cutout is super flimsy like a rubber band (it will undoubtedly start drooping or snap in no time), and the finish looks and feels exactly like last year’s, which was the worst smudge magnet out of ~15-20 cases. I’ve returned many others that I haven’t mentioned, but this one warranted a report since it costs $70 (!) dollars and gets recommended a lot. Sorry to those who like it, but it’s definitely not my cup of tea. It’ll be headed back to Amazon tomorrow.
I had two replacements for the Ghost 2.0 so far; both cases have that annoying "rainbowing" effect on the Apple logo. Also the whole case rainbows if you look at it at an angle. I wouldn't really recommend the case especially for this price.

Yep, same problem with mine. Sold it straight away.
Between the fingerprints and rainbow problems, it's out of here.
Same here, no issues with rainbowing, mine is the same with the CC button but nowhere a dealbreaker for me.
