Just got the Ryan London leather case for the 16 Pro with the CC button. Wow, the space at the bottom is horrible (worse than I imagined). In fact the bottom of the case barely touches the phone. So disappointing. I didn’t take pics because I already boxed it up for a return. Super disappointing!

Get in my man.

It’s not acceptable especially when they are charging Apple prices.

Was on the Caudabe subreddit last night and came across an interesting reply from them... Could this mean they are getting close to releasing cases with a CC button? Maybe after their "Winter Sale" ends on 2/16?

@TechnicallyTee Do you know if "stay tuned ;)" is alluding to Caudabe releasing CC button cases in the near future? Or is the winky face just giving me false hope? Lol

The Apple silicon case which I am using (and hate, one of the worst types of cases ever, smudges, lint, discolors after a few uses, etc) has a small gap, but this gap at the bottom of the Ryan London leather case is huge. Not sure how it passed any reasonable quality control. Just awful!

Blows my mind how someone could absolutely own the leather/CC cover space but the effort is nil.

Yep, I requested a return and the cost to ship it back to them is $30. I will never touch another one of their products.

That’s insane. I am going to dispute it with my CC if they don’t take a return for a defective item. Thats criminal

Honestly the worst case I’ve ever owned and I’m using the Apple Silicon case. That says something because that is the second worst case I’ve ever owned lol

I said the exact same thing to them and am waiting on their reply...
I read the reviews one here (after I ordered of course). I thought people were overeacting, but they weren’t.

This is one of the worst cases I’ve ever used. It made me go back to the Apple Silicon case which might be the worst case I’ve ever used until the Ryan London with CC button.

You must have some pretty great cases if the Apple Silicone is the second to worst case you’ve ever used. I can think of at least a dozen or more cases I’ve tried that were worse than the Apple.

It's only the Pro RL some people have this gap issue with.
Again, my Pro Max black one (pics I previously provided) has been great. 🤷‍♂️

WOW, I got a replacement from Bellroy sent express post, with in 30 mins of me sending them some photos and invoice, and I bought from amazon lol

ryan london has terrible customer service. i will never buy again from them. instead of admitting they screwed up with the gap on the pro models they have decided to claim the gap is part of the design and is intended. i call bs. once they sell all from the first batch, i’m sure it will no longer have the gap.

Have the same case and really like it, I see the space you and everyone talking about in the bottom but it’s really not a big deal for me, as the case feels great in hand. I see that space in the bottom only when I hold the phone in a certain angle which I’m not :)

Adding photos.

Is Caudabe paragon, sheath or synthesis better than Apple silicone case?

I prefer the Sheath, I tried the Synthesis but the back scratched too easily and I have yet to try the Paragon. They are disliked because they don’t have a Camera Control button case yet or if at all. Still a solid case in my opinion.

Edit: Changed wording.

Hate is a strong word, but I did find the cutout to be uncomfortable and impractical in use. Then there’s the weight (Sheath is 50 grams for the 16PM), which is now in Otterbox territory.
