Picked up a new Apple silicone in black today (manufactured 1/2025) and it has the gap. Overall case though always is nice for me - I’ve never had any problems with durability. Looks nice too with the black titanium.
He’s been sloppy lately. First he said this week and then said before the end of next week once it was this week lol
got the blue benks thin armor tint case today. the camera surround is silver and some sort of metal unlike the aurora i have that is black plastic. but it is faulty. the left side under the volume buttons has a gap 🧐. it is like warped or something and doesn’t hug the phone. bummer cause it looks nice. ordered direct. emailed and waiting on reply.
Ugh, bummer. I keep saying it, but Benks’ quality control is sub par.
I got Beats Black for $22. I always want to try it and for that price I can't resist.
I must say that I'm very surprised about this case. The color is more greeny for me. Super sparkling, smug magnet. But I like the fit and whole form of it. There is only one cutout at the bottom, no disturbing cutouts and sharp edges around buttons like on Pitaka.
Buttons are great - much better than Apple Clear case or Silicon one.
Feels really solid and feels less slippery like Apple Clear case.
I will stick with it for some time until switch back to Arc Pulse.
While not really a case, I picked up one of the orange silicone Süti phone backs and I’ve been greatly enjoying using it.
Curious how your phone is holding up from changing between arc, pitaka, apple ? Have you noticed any scratches from switching between open to closed cases ? I have a pitaka and It feels sharp along the edges so haven’t used it . Right now Im still in the Arc TI and I’m breaking a record keeping it on so long lol
No scratches so far. The titanium finish seems tougher than the finish on the aluminum and stainless models, which for me nearly always started showing some minor scuffs after awhile.
Congrats on the Ti Arc. I may have to go for one on the IP17.
Curious, were you coming from no case, or making the switch from a more protective case?
Thanks , good to know because I’m going crazy putting skins on to protect from scratches while using the Arc but if it’s not needed I’m going to stop wasting money on them and save for the potential new Apple case coming .
I also picked up sand / white beats case which I may try in the near future.i have an apple silicone but can’t get past the smudges ..
No way . Mine does not have any of that and it’s been on 3 weeks straight .. you should complain and get a replacement
It’s difficult to tell from photos, but to me that looks excessive.
There are some little scratches, but it's hardly to find, I need to look under special angle to see it. There is no reason to contact support yet. I will if more comes up.
Did you have to push hard to remove that? Mine has never felt removable in the least, but I’ve never tried.
No more than if you swapping buttons on any other case.

I jump between the PR Flex, the Snake Ridge Pitaka, the Flolab Surtech , a Sheath, a Nomad Sport, and an Apple silicone.
that goes for customer service as well. i sent a pic of deformed thin case to them and expected they would just say they are shipping a new one, but no, they want a video. added to my list of companies with bad cs.Strike three, you're out
