This Ridge case is also fingerprint city on the back. Would be half way decent, If it wasn’t so slippery

The button is not really that recessed. It’s a little finicky, but after using it for a while, it’s not really that bad and is actually working pretty good.
Agreed but honestly the other case I really like is that Spigen T one and that does the same thing. Nothing that a wipe down from a shirt or a cleaning cloth won't fix at least.
I'm limited on the cases I could use that have a CC button so because of that I happen to like those two the most rn.
I’d suggest going to an apple shop if you have one close enough and trying them. I always assumed I’d had them because of the horror stories I’ve heard.
But I took a punt and for me personally they win the case battle this year by far. The fit is perfect. Buttons are perfect. I’ve had no colour fading issues on my lake green. And the lint etc isn’t as bad as I thought.
Were in not for the camera control button I’d not have considered an Apple case. But I’m glad I did as it’s a fantastic case.
The periwinkle goes well with the teal, I think. This pic was taken in natural light with Mrs K’s 15 Pro.
I live in London so I do have several Apple stores I can go to. I do think they’re overpriced but I will probably do that and at least check them out. I like the new colours that just came out. I guess if I buy one I have at least have 14 days to return it.
Aqua is lovely. Just wish I didn’t have the MagSafe ring after 1 day only

I’m careful with mine. Ocd a little lol I’ve never had an issue aside from some lint but I have Persian cats all over my house so there’s no avoiding that 😂
I’ve had the Owl on for the last month +. Great case, no issues. Phone rebel gen 6, ghost 2.0 etc all sitting unused since.
The Alex Goldfinch has arrived and it’s a great case. But: I don’t like the cut out for the Camera Control button. While waiting for the case to arrive I had used a cheap Amazon case with a cc button. And I miss it already.
Now, is there any nice leather or other case with an open bottom and a camera control button?
Seems it’s either a cut out or a closed bottom?

I’m careful with mine Apple Silicon case in Denim too for my 16 Pro. There is so much lint and grime, and the way it pulls out of my pocket too - not good. The edges wear quickly almost like the color peels off the case. I don’t even touch the case when I’m out eating that’s how gentle I am with it.
I typically use the Silicon case for 2-3 months then buy a new one bc of the wear. Wish someone made a good leather case with a CC button, but until that happens I’m stuck with this case.

I’m getting an iPhone 16e soon, and I’m looking for a case and tempered glass for the screen.
I have a magnetic mount in my car, but I think the official silicone case doesn’t have the magnetic ring, so… I’ve looked at a couple of silicone cases (with the magnetic ring) on Amazon, one from Ringke (€20) and the other from Elago (€17).
For the tempered glass, I want one that covers almost the screen, because many leave a lot of the screen exposed. I’ve been thinking about the Spigen Glas.tR EZ, do you have any idea of a LARGE screen protector? As big as possible.

I feel like lighter colors do a better job at hiding the wear. That’s why I was disappointed with the fall colors. I do like the fuchsia but I was anxious for a light one again
With that said I’m returning the periwinkle and even the pink and keeping aqua. I feel like I got what I wanted with the aqua and it’s just amazing. Try a lighter color and see how you feel! Denim is pretty dark so maybe see about one of the lighter ones!
So, what's your game plan for this? Ignore it? Ask Apple to replace it? I want to try this color on my Desert Ti but I'm a little worried I'll get the same result.
I received my Phone Rebel Ultra case today for my 16 Pro. It's nice! It'll take some getting used to as far as the texture on the sides and easy swipe. But I like it thus far! To echo what others have said, the CC button does work perfectly.
Question: Can someone enlighten me as to what's going on with the component kits for the ULTRA cases, though? The existing buttons and kits for the Gen 6/5 Rebel work for the Ultra I saw, but they are slightly thicker than the actual Ultra buttons. And they rattle in the Ultra case?
Are Ultra kits going to come soon? I don't see a listing on the site for Ultra-specific parts. Maybe it's hidden?

Couldn’t agree more. I want to exchange mine for the black or green because the orange isn’t quite the right shade to me. But the black would probably show fingerprints much worse. They need to add some grip texture to the sides at least.
As far as I can tell, the only sets that come with the correct (flat) buttons are the “folding” sets. The others all have last year’s buttons. Both of the folding sets are currently out of stock though.
My car mount has one of those heads that squeezes the case from the sides, every time I hit a bump today my Ridge case was activating the camera and snapping some pictures of my dash
