It's not bad but I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe if it wasn't so slippery and the CC button wasn't so finicky.
Yeah the button looks recessed. I like to be able to hit the button with my right hand. When I had the Bullstrap with the cut out. I could only hit the camera button with my left hand. Just due to the fact that I have acrylic nails. I feel like if this button is recessed I’m gonna have to do pretty much the same thing.

Ridge tried to copy the Nomad Sport Magma case right down to the packaging and came up with a complete flop
Not trying to stand up for Ridge or anything lol but that’s exactly what their boxes look like for their wallets and accessories as well so it actually looks right in line for their product line up so I wouldn’t say they copied Nomad on that aspect.

I’m starting to like the aqua more anyway😂 I like periwinkle and will keep but I wish they made it lighter.

Periwinkle with my OG lilac band.

The Aqua matches (close enough anyway) my beryl sport band from a few years ago and even ice blue ocean band I have for my ultra.
Nice looking colors but I wish Apple Silicon cases werent so terrible.

They fit great, but the lint, grime, and color fading along the edges after very light use are dealbreakers to me.

Ridge case finally arrived today. Tight fit, good buttons, quite slippery, camera control button works but is easy to activate and pretty damn finicky. CC button Phone Rebel or Apple quality, NO, but it works  Do I recommend to purchase this case, NO :( Here are some pics:
How much does it weigh? If that’s not too much to ask.

I think perhaps the Sheath, Tineeowl, and the Rinkes with their stone-like finish do a better job at hiding fingerprints. They all have their own issues though, that in my opinion are a much bigger deal than a few smudges.
Either the stone-like finish Sheath or Matte Frosted finish are great at hiding fingerprints and maintain a fresh, pristine look far better than Aramid Fiber finish. The cutout doesn't bother me that much as long as it's well made and not flimsy. :D

I’ve never met a cutout that I like, and I tried a bunch. Being left handed makes CC cutouts terribly uncomfortable.

I decided to case I keep going back to, is the dbrand Ghost 2.0. It’s the best clear case I ever had. It has some micro scratches, but other than that it is fine. I love the side grips and the buttons. And the camera control is okay.

I tried other cases, but I keep missing the Ghost then.
I’m assuming you tried the Apple clear case? Can you compare the two in terms of hand feel, weight and grip?

I can appreciate where you’re coming from. I see a lot of customers that have issues like this with their cases. However I typically don’t have a lot of the issues. I don’t get the color wear on the edges. Lint.. well I have Persian Himalayan cats all over my house so that’s something I do deal with lol

I tend to like the light colors which show less wear than the dark colors. I think that’s why after 24 hrs of staring at the new colors I like the aqua the best. It’s more in line with what I typically go for. If they had white I would have done that. I never have issues with dirt. But I’m ridiculously OCD about my phone and when I put it. So that factors in quite a bit I’d think.

yeah, I can imagine that with the fingers having to rest on the cutout all the time. This has been a tough year for cases and hopefully next year, we will have all the popular brands come up with proper and nice CC buttons.

imo the ghost 2.0 isn’t a clear case. it’s a clear back case. apples and oranges when comparing to the apple clear case or any other true clear cases. don’t get me wrong, i like it. has great buttons and good grip. mine has nasty scratches around the magsafe cause i use a metal grip (magone 3.0). so that’s on me. only reason it doesn’t stay on my phone is it doesn’t provide any screen protection for lay on table.

i love the ghost 2.0 the screen protection doesn't bother me as i never set my phone face down and i have never dropped a phone in my life either. with a good screen protector you should be fine tbh

I have a Ghost 2.0 which I got for free as a replacement for the 1.0. It’s still in the packaging it was shipped in and I haven’t even opened it. I’m currently using the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T and I like that one a lot. Every thing I’ve seen and heard about the Ghost I don’t think I would like it as much.
