What's the appeal with Pitaka? I got one because they were so hyped up on here, but the one I got was a fingerprint magnet and I didn't love how sharp the edges felt.
I never had experience with them but from browsing around they seem to make the thinnest case. I hate cases and in a few months I'll prob go caseless. Still waiting to get mine and there's probably a high chance I return it. Which color did you get that was a fingerprint magnet? The colored designs look premium to me as well.

I’m really struggling with the colors from apple this year 😔 I’m contemplating the fuchsia now over the plum. Anyone have the white pro with the fuchsia??

Why didn’t they have white. Light pink. Baby blue. 😩

My top 3 cases right now in no order: Prodigee (Formula) - Apple Silicone Case - Pitaka Military Grade Case

Including some images of the Prodigee Formula below. I like this one a lot - it is slightly larger than the apple silicone case but provides better protection. Not heavy at all - only .3 grams heaver than the silicone case. MagSafe compatible and the magnets are strong. The Camera button is a cut out but is fully functional and I find it helps to reduce accidental presses. I love that the back is frosted so it reduces the fingerprint visibility. It has aluminum buttons and accents around the camera. The gray case with orange matches my Apple Watch Ultra perfectly. Works with screen shields just fine - I have the Belkin UltraGlass 2 so you will see a small gap between case and screen shield but this helps to ensure no bubbling.

I am not affiliated with Prodigee nor sponsored - I also do not get any cut of sales. Just sharing as I really like the look and protection of this one.

What Color do you have of the Pitaka Military Grade? Mine is still in transit and it may take a while. I would really like to see the black version. I really like my Sheath but I think this could be my new go to if it really is what they promise. Promo pictures are looking great.

Right now I have both the Sunset and Moonrise colors - I have the Black coming in sometime around Mid October.

I am currently in the process of filming the case and should have a video up soon. One thing to note, with my Belkin screen shield there is no real lip around the screen so take that as a good or bad thing.

On the plus side you won't feel the case at all when swiping up, down, left or right. It also makes it so dust collection between the screen shield and case is pretty much non existent. However, for those of you that like to lay the phone face down your screen shield will be touching the surface (at least the belkin one will). I am not about to remove my screen shield but from what I can tell, without a shield you will get just enough lay on the table that this will not be an issue.

Size and weight is pretty much identical to the apple silicone case.

It looks VERY luxurious and I'd even say out of all the cases I have had hands on it looks the most premium. Still in my top 3 cases, more to come...

I purchased the Apple silicone for my 16PM because of the camera button. It’s a good case and provides a good feel in the hand. But the phone keeps popping out of the case very slightly fin the bottom left corner. I’m planning on keeping it.

I always buy a leather case for each iPhone. Since Apple no longer makes them, I buy the Bellroy ones. I ordered the regular leather phone case. Still haven’t delivered yet.

In the meantime, I ordered and received the Benks ArmorPro and the Torras Guardian. The Benks is going back. It’s too slippery which causes it to be uncomfortable for one handed use. The Torras is nice and I’m keeping it. Not slippery and is comfortable.

Is the Pitaka aramid cases any good? So far, I have tried the Spigen aramid for my 15PM and the case just seems so bulky and cheap. It’s also too shiny. The Benks aramid I got for my 16PM is too slippery. Are all aramids the same?

My 16PM lands tomorrow.

So far I have the Spigen Armor case and the clear T case with the built in button. Will report back with pictures as soon as I've got it all up and running.

Also have a few UAG cases on their way via Amazon UK too. Should land tomorrow as well...

Again will report back with pictures 👍🏼

Is the Prodigee a tight fit? Also is the back slippery because it looks like one of those slippery cases!

Fit is fine with no creaking or gaps. It is not tight like a Caudabe which while some like that I find it's just a pain to take on and off - I was always afraid I was gonna break my phone in the process hahah.

I do not find it slippery. The sides give it grip and the back while smooth is not ultra slick so it works fine for me.

Couple more unedited photos I just took on my old iPhone to show how I like the color match with my Apple Watch Ultra. I swear I am taking these shots in the right position, not sure why when uploading it changes the display... sorry bout that.

@TechnicallyTee next week is gonna be like “so I’ve been using the phonerebel frost gen 6 for about a week now”. Let us know when you get that one in! The rounded edges look a lot more comfortable than the 5. Also Thanks for the paragon sneak peek!

I got my Gray Formula case today. The case is almost perfect except I wish the sides were textured for more grip. It’s not slippery but I would like a tad more grip. I am surprised how well the smoke gray hides fingerprints and smudges. Overall great case.

Yesterday, I received a pebbled leather case from Amazon. This one is from Mobee but there are a few others on there that appear identical; the Mobee one had the fastest delivery so that's what I chose. The listing says that it's "top grain leather," and it does smell faintly of leather. The pebbled surface is comfortable to grip - much nicer than the Apple silicone case I've been using, which seems to slide around in my hand ever so slightly, as if it were coated in powder - and it's easy to extract it from a pocket quickly.

The camera control cutout is fine - not ideal, as it's not tapered so the button is a bit recessed, but I'm still able to half- and full press without any significant difficulty. And it's actually a good place to anchor the tip of my ring or middle finger while holding the phone one-handed; accidental presses of the camera control are quite unlikely. The metal buttons are nice an clicky, and while perhaps not as smooth around the edges as the buttons on my old Apple leather case, they're by no means sharp, and I like that both they and the camera surround are also blue.

I have a couple of other leather ones coming tomorrow, but for $25 this is probably a keeper even if I end up keeping one of the other ones as well.

Thanks! We have a Ragdoll, a Norwegian Forest mix, and a longhaired tuxedo, all rescues. I'm a cat guy and managed to marry a woman who loves them, too. Is yours in your profile pic a Himalayan? My wife had one and he became my good buddy while we were dating, but unfortunately he passed shortly before we got married. He was the reason we ended up with a Ragdoll - he was a really neat cat, and we both wanted to find someone who would remind us of him.

Sounds awesome, I love my Spigen ultra hybrid case T with the button. I find it easier to press the button. As I don’t have a case without a button like the UAG cases you are receiving, I am curious whether a button cover is better or not. 😊

Love it! My wife also had a Persian, and while she was a bit shy around me at first, she eventually decided that I would be the first person whose lap she voluntarily climbed into. I was so excited, and my wife, admittedly, was a little bit annoyed. She was a super sweet cat and loved affection, but also wanted everything to be on her terms and always wanted to do what was on her mind, not what was on ours. So when she decided that she wanted my lap, it really made me smile.

Went for the Summit Stone Beats case for my Black iPhone 16 Pro. it contrasts beautifully with the black titanium design and its fairly low profile. the camera control passthrough button works as expected and it's a really nice shade of cream white that does not show fingerprints like the darker variants.

Are you using a screen protector with the Pitaka? I have the Dbrand screen protectors ordered and waiting on them to ship.

Bellroy leather phone case in Agave. Very slim profile and the metal buttons are very reminiscent of the original Apple leather case. Not much leather smell though.
Photos taken indoors and in direct sunlight.
