glad you’re back safe and sound. i really like the look of that case and the flex frosty but i’ve been burned too many times with the alignment magnet coming out and me ruining the inside struggling to get it back in place. i would only consider the aramid versions.

Sorry both, was referring to to the Tough Armor T. 🫣

The UHT is a no go for me as I really dislike the feel of that type of shiny TPU. Goes through me for some reason.

The Tough Armor T loose sides show 2:42 on this vid. (Not the capture button version but will be obv similar)

That’s fair enough. I like the clear shiny TPU and polycarbonate. I generally use clear cases and I like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T. I would like a coloured case which has the camera control button cover but I don’t want silicone or leather. Hopefully something will be released based on my specifications and requirements. In the meantime I’ll stick with the Spigen.

2 Hurricanes later and I'm back :D

A few pictures of my Bandwerk case:
I was wondering how you fared up there. 3 hurricanes here after just getting through Milton last night! Helene pretty much took our house and all belongings in Redington Beach, but, hey, still have and loving my Torras 360 O-Ring 😆. Looks like Amazon was willing to refund all my (I kid you not) wet returns.

Yours sincerely in orange... Love that case! Is the CC cutout working well for you?

Since I have had my 16 pro I have tried a few cases, day 1 I had the Mous Limitless Leather, Mous Clarity, and the UAG Civilian. I just received the Sheath and now the Phone Rebel Air. I didn’t expect to like the Mous with that big honking chunk taken out of it but I get a new case, try it on for 30 seconds then put the Mous Leather back on. None of the other cases are nearly as comfortable for me to hold. The Sheath camera control cut out feels sharp to me, the Air cut out feels much more refined, but the texture isn’t my favorite. My finger seems to fall right into the notch on the limitless and it feels the best out of the 4 or 5 options I have tried. Have sent back the Clarity and the Civilian. And I’ll probably send back the Air.

I have yet to try a case with a button for the camera control but plan to pick up an Apple Silly-cone although I have never liked the texture in my hand.

I hope Phonerebel gives us a black crystal this year again. Best grip out the bunch. Even if it looks like shiny leather skin tight pants at first lol

Has anyone got the Prodigee Formula case? If yes, how do you rate the case?
Buttons are great and the feel is pretty good. It just feels cheap overall to me. It has everything that should make it a great case but just not for me. Metagamer code gave 30% off though or watch one of his vids for an updated code

That was me, did a video showing it. With a screen shield there is no lay on the table - I have the case in Sunset and Moonrise.

Saving you a click into the video here is a pretty good screenshot of what I am talking about - this is with the Belkin UltraGlass2
Do you have any issues at all with the screen protector being pushed and raised up?

Received my "Military Grade" PITAKA case today. Here are some photos comparing it to the regular Aramid Fiber case on the desert titanium iPhone 16 Pro

Positive:

+ The camera frame is not as sharp as the regular Aramid Fiber case. In fact, it was so sharp, it literally cracked the screen protector on my Galaxy Fold 6 while I was carrying both in the same pants pocket.
+ Better protection
+ the gold matches the desert titanium much better than the silver on the Aramid Fiber case

Negative:

- not as thin as the regular Aramid Fiber case
- does not feel as nice as the Aramid Fiber case - it feels more like a regular case

What screen protect or are you running with these? Trying to avoid any size issues with the case pushing them up.

So Cal
i just ordered a magbak elite case for my 16p. i like the built in kickstand and the finger grip. i added on the extra red buttons. we’ll see if i just wasted a lot of money as it’s expensive.

That’s an interesting case I’ve been tempted to order. The included gapless screen protector looks like a great idea if it works as well as advertised. Let us know how it goes.

What screen protector are you using with the UHT?

I have the ub mag stand with the hinge, the hinge does not go all the way through the case, it actually sticks out the back just a little along with the mag safe ring, surprised if the grip case is different, especially because it is a bigger case.
I have both the Mag and Grip. You’re correct about the Mag’s ring being attached to the outside of the case. The Grip’s ring however, is attached by a square cutout in the back of the case. The metal hinge sits flush on the inside of the case. I can’t tell for sure, but I’m hoping there is a little clearance between the hinge and the back of the iPhone.

24 hours in with the air2 and still really like it. Great grip and feels really thin while still protective. Best all round case? Maybe

Have you tried the Spigen UHT yet? I was finally able to get one shipped and should have it by the weekend. Hoping it provides a better alternative to the Silicone than the Lumen, which was just OK, not great.

I still have not tried a case with a cutout that I like. I’m perhaps one of those rare individuals who is using the camera control a lot.
I tried the lumen as well and noticed the rough edges but also dust under the case ugh .. silicone it is for now .. next case to try is taut new defender when it comes out
