I’m pretty happy with the Tough Armor for my heavy duty case, so I’m going to try to resist. If I can’t contain the urge, I’ll wait for the button model. That said, after both Bullstrap and Otterbox gave up on the button, I’m a bit concerned that Phone Rebel could back out too.

Is the lip and screen protection on the Tough Armor T really non existent as rumored?

Ha, no not at all. That’s an exaggeration. Just don’t use a .70mm screen protector like a Torras and there is plenty of lip.

Out of the box, slippery. Couple of days, just fine.

Leather cases are not that protective though

I found the Spigen Tough Armor T to be a bit slippery. Also mine came with a couple scratches on the back. I’m back in the Sheath as well.

I bought an e-ink iPhone 16 Pro case with the camera control cutout from Aliexpress. It's not bad, I like how I can upload whatever picture I want on it, but the colours and resolution are limited. It's neat that it doesn't require any wired connection, it's just NFC. The buttons feel alright and the camera cutout is average.

Overall I do like it for the novelty of the display.

I also added the ESR Kickstand to it because I like cases with kickstands (or magsafe cases and then use a magsafe kickstand).

One more paper thin Pitaka, this one’s the black/gray Ultra-Slim. Unlike the Tactile Woven cases, which are made from 1500D aramid fiber, this one is 600D. It’s smoother, and even thinner and lighter at 20 grams. Without a screen protector the corners raise just the slightest amount above the screen, with a protector there’s no lip. It’s all fun and games until I drop it… LOL.

Anyone have any insight on the new Magbak Elite? I searched using the search function and didn’t find any posts but I’m just wondering if it is a plastic type material, or silicone case feel? And if silicone, does it look like caca after a day or two, because it shouldn’t for $80 plus tax! 🫠

RL is a great case. Used it in my iPhone 15 Pro for 7 months but as time passed by the camera ring start looked half black half silver which was horrible. This year I will be waiting for bullstrap

They’re probably also updating the otterbox figura to include this camera control button. Weird how it was the only one with a cutout while the lumen had the cover.

Because of the concave sides, the camera control cavern is particularly difficult to use. Knowing how much you dislike the cutout on the Sheath makes me think you’d hate this one too, probably even more so.

i love it. overpriced yeah but you do get a screen protector. i won’t be taking mine off anytime soon.
