Not this year. If he wants camera control, the Spigen Tough Armor T AI is the obvious choice in my opinion.
Camera Control is not that important because he hardly uses the button tbh
He just wants a good protective case that feels nice in the hand and is not slippery...

Sheath in Eucalyptus announced.

May not be case related by might be. I saw Steve Jawbs highly recommend the mothca matte anti glare screen protector.

I installed this one as well. This was the first time I’ve ever installed one myself. Install went ok. Has a guide to drop the protector through. I have a slight lift in top left corner. Can’t see when screen is on and there is a rainbow along the right edge. For $8 I’ll probably just leave it on
It’s been flawless for me. Although I’m so tempted to get a PowerSupport.

But the Mothica glass saved me from horrible drop and shattered instead of my screen shattering. Lol.

FloLab Surtect in today. Decent case with a very tight fit, nothing saggy on this baby. The finish on the back is kind of like a soft touch finish and will be a major fingerprint/smudge/grease magnet :( Also, why they chose to cover up some of the speaker/microphone ports on the bottom with some lanyard bars is beyond me. Mighty slippery beast also. The greasy back kills it for me and I won't be using this case. I only purchased this so I could add the orange buttons ;) Miss my Hooterbox Symmetry case with the orange buttons :( This beater will be heading over to the marketplace with 3 extra color button sets if anyone is interested.

Here are a few of my low quality iPad mini pics for the road:

Just slapped the Rebel G6 on.

Very similar to Ringke.

Silky smooth back - feels so good.

Wow. I’m torn.

Is it worth $50? Possibly.

Does it eclipse the Ringke Onyx and worth the $25 more? Not sure.

Will try it for 2 days. Really nice case but possibly overpriced. Would keep for $30 hands down. So what’s a measly $10? Yeah. I know.

EDIT: was a PITA to put on. Extremely fricken tight. Almost gave up. One drawback.

Man, it sure feels like a Porsche steering wheel. Luxury.

Back of the Rebel G6 after using it for an hour is stained with oils from hand.

My OCD won’t be able to accept this.

Returning.

Too bad. Feels so so good. Really good. But weird stain from left hand is too much. Hmmm.

Definitely a grease pit as with all aramid fiber cases ;)

So I look at it now and it’s gone but can still see wierd smudges.

Damn. I really love the feel of this over the Ringke. I may have to abandon my OCD. Why is it so difficult. lol
Yea, it cleans right up with a wet wipe and clean microfiber. Fingerprints bother my OCD quite a bit
