It’s a positive for MacRumors because it allows them to write more articles, have more rumors, and more"allowing Apple to maintain differentiation between the two "Pro" devices next year."
Why in the world is this phrased as a positive?

No, I think that will be the 18. The 17 will be some weird in-between.and the 17 will be what 16 should have been...
It’s always a compromise. If they want to enable 3D video recording on the regular iPhone, they probably don’t have much of a choice.Bringing back the vertical camera layout does not seem to make sense when the reason they made it that way in iPhone 13 series and newer was the sensor shift stabilization...
Not quite the same, but the recent change Apple implemented on Haptic Touch by making it a little faster definitely closes the gap a little more. Much more responsive than Haptic Touch from the XR and 11 Pro days.Still without real 3D Touch? Another year with iPhone Xs.
There is a big difference in the proposed 6.9” device and the 8.3” iPad Mini. I had the standard Pro for years and went to the 15 Pro Max and it definitely is not only completely manageable, but doesn’t even feel big anymore. I’d love the 6.9” phone rumored for next year.My 15 Pro Max is already so damn big without a case on–how is making it even larger a good thing? At that point, just get an iPad mini.
You're trying to compare an iPad with an iPhone when they are using different aspect ratio...My 15 Pro Max is already so damn big without a case on–how is making it even larger a good thing? At that point, just get an iPad mini.
I mentioned in another post a few weeks ago that if it goes beyond 5x, I wouldn’t buy. For the main cam will have to perform digital zoom from 1.01 to say 9.99.So if the 16 Pro Max does feature a super telephoto for better optical zoom does it remain at 5x? All of this is rumored of course but if many of these changes come to the 16 Pro Max/Ultra, that would prompt me to upgrade from my 15 Pro Max. I love the newer 5x zoom as far as distance I can get, but the quality goes to **** very quickly in less than optimal lighting.
Not to mention that my peers who are using it had issues. His fold was replaced twice within a year. And another’s flip’s laminate had bubbles in less than 6 monthsI really love Samsung’s hardware. I played with an S23 Ultra at my cell provider the other day and was really impressed with the build quality, S pen, and display. They also had the Fold and I was shocked with how bad the crease is unfolded. That would never fly with Apple which is likely why Apple isn’t doing foldables. That crease is as obvious as a cracked display. Really cool concept and I applaud Samsung for pushing the tech but I don’t think it’s ready for a premium product yet.
Exactly what I am hoping fora "super telephoto" lens in the ProMax would only make sense if it's added to the existing 5x, so 4 lenses/cameras would be what I'd like to see ...
I'm holding out for the next one, and if if is also a let-down, I will just maintain my Xs as long as I can.I’ve got just the phone. And the best part, it already exists to fit your list. Introducing the iPhone SE 2022!
ProMotion/120Hz is definitely overdue. I don’t know if the 16 will get it or not, but like I said, it’s overdue. Also I think it’s time for a visual change with the camera cluster on the 16 Pro/Pro Max.So the 16 is going to be what the 15 should've been.![]()
I'm not sold on the camera changes rumor just yet, but we'll know soon enough)ProMotion/120Hz is definitely overdue. I don’t know if the 16 will get it or not, but like I said, it’s overdue. Also I think it’s time for a visual change with the camera cluster on the 16 Pro/Pro Max.
I thought they disabled 3D Touch in iOS even if you have it. Hmm. It’s just Force Touch now so right?Still without real 3D Touch? Another year with iPhone Xs.
