Apple recommends not covering the plateau as it traps heat, but if you really want it covered, you can get separate covers on Amazon.
I’m struggling to find a cover this ISNT a “lens protector” and therefore covers the lenses in some cheap plastic?

In my mind I’d love just a clear sticky skin to protect scraping, but maybe that’s sort of pointless and it certainly doesn’t protect against the plateau being hit the wrong way…

I saw someone post those old style soft tpu skins for the plateau in another thread. They had both glossy and matte. I don’t remember what thread it was though lol

Power Support Air Jacket for 17 PM. Nice and slim in the hands and has good MagSafe. But the buttons are silver (why not white?) and they rattle when I shake the case.

Also they used to be made in Japan but are now made in China

Mine doesn't have that. Fits like a glove.
Yeah the fit is great but that piece above the port is flimsy and has too much movement.

Regarding those Suti back covers, with that tiny gap at the top I’d be worrying about grit getting in and being pressed against the phone when setting down.

Anybody ever tried the native union cases?

Thanks for that, just picked it up. Got my phone yesterday, but my Spigen Thin which I ordered to tide me over until my Sheath arrives is lost in the ether/mail. This is the only case I could buy instore here with precise cutouts.

Good point, but I don’t think it will be a major problem, unless you are super rough with your phone. You just need to remove it, give everything a once over and a quick cleaning once in a while, just like with any other case.

I saw it here. It was an Apple design document for case makers.
Looking at the document @Spocky linked to and page 320 he mentioned only says not to cover it with "metal or other conductive materials". Unless there's something else mentioned on another page then I guess most cases are okay to cover it as they're made of plastic/polymers.

So as long as its not carbon fibre or metal it seems we're good?
