I know I’ve posted a couple of times about it already but really cannot speak highly enough of the Midnight Blue silicone case, paired with the Deep Blue phone. If only they made a Sport Band in this colour. Another couple of outdoor pics at sunset:
i got the dbrand grip case for my air. don’t have a scale but it’s on the heavier side. great feel on the sides and the new back, which is textured this year. i didn’t install the skin cause i really like the feel and look of the back. very thin except for the top plateau area. buttons work fine, they are just slit cuts. the cc button works great. if you’ve tried the ghost, it’s not as easily pressed. if you’ve tried apple, its not as firm. for me it’s perfect. not too clicky not too firm. i really like it all in all.

Here it is guys in all its glory, and I have to agree with others that the Sheath is one of the best case I’ve ever own! Got the Gray Sheath with Ember buttons.
NOTE: The gray looked darker than I thought, and I love it! And works perfectly with the Torras OrigArmor edge to edge glass protector!
Also NOTE: There is a tiny bit of exposed screen between the OrigArmor and the Sheath, so basically the case doesnt go right up to the edge of the OrigArmor, there is about ~1mm exposed gap.
Lastly, the rattle is present with the case empty, and if you intentionally try to shake it, then yes there is a big rattle. But once I put the phone inside, the rattle is hardly present and sounds worse than it is:

That gray-orange combo is so clean dude! Well done! Glad to hear minimal rattle with phone in there.
Is the rattle similar with the stock buttons?
Hope you like it. I’ve always gone for cases that show off the phone colour, rather than blend with it. Sienna looked good too, I’ll probably grab one later.
I had the Apple Silicone and then the Beats case on my 17 Pro Max prior to this one and returned both. The silicone got too much lint on it and the Beats case was too slippery. I feel like this case has pretty decent grip. It feels good in the hand and I love the design.
I think you’ve mentioned a couple times that you wish Apple made a sport band in this Midnight Blue color.
Well they released a “Midnight Blue” sport band twice. First one was with the original release of the Apple Watch in Fall of 2015 and the second gen “Midnight Blue” sport band was released in fall 2018.

Took several days, but finally got my return label from Caudabe for the Frost Synthesis. Now I’m sure the refund will take weeks, but didn’t make sense to spend $50 on something I’d never use.
I tried the Beats Rugged and even with the dot grip still was slippery. Plus not worth full retail anyway IMO.

I thought the Sheath weighed like 50 something grams?
Finally got to try a TW case on a 17PM, and it feels so thin compared to the AS I've been using for the past few weeks. The hand feel is completely different from the AS. The TW seems to have less bulk and grip but doesn't feel like it provides much protection either—not that Apple cases are particularly drop-protective anyway.
A mediocre piece of plastic imo for $50. Also seems like there are some striations at the bottom of the frosted back.
Unless something dramatic has changed with the Sheath, I think your scale needs calibrating. It’s been ~50 grams for the past few years.
You can tell it’s a Pro by the color and plateau.
I just took mine off and weighted it, 53.3 Grams, 17PM version.
