$7.00 Spigen VS $85.00 Pitaka, Who ya got?

So true, I never even knew the Urban existed until I saw the Verizon sale.
I happened to run across it way back when the phones were released, but the price tag seemed crazy so I never followed up. At $7 there’s not going to be a better deal this year IMO.

BTW - All this talk about the Moft prompted me to order one. I have a Misty Cove (white) for the Air arriving tomorrow morning. 😊 I figured if I’m going to get a white case, vegan leather is probably the best material.

Nice, the case really is a sleeper like JBlass421 says. It really surprised me.

Just when I though a Super Bowl half time couldn't get any worst 🙁

17PM weights:

Pitaka UltraGuard 35.8 grams
Spigen Urban 52.5 grams
Moft Movas 36.7
That Spigen is surprisingly heavy for not being that bulky. It’s the same on the Air. The back is very stiff, so probably pretty protective, but 53 grams (46 for the Air) is excessive. That’s Rebel territory.

Interesting I watched a few videos for the Moft (17 Pro Max) and in two different videos I saw it weigh at 33 grams.

I haven’t personally weighed it but it feels nice and light for sure! I gave up the Paragon for its weight, I couldn’t stand the 50g weight anymore. Especially after being used to 20g Ultra Slims.

Okay, I was bored. Pitaka UltraGuard in Sunset, does not thrill me at all. The case seems fine. The only real problem I see is the rubber around the CC button is a little swollen and wonky looking. I'll run it for a day or two and give it to my daughter to sell. What the hell, it's only another $80. loss 😕

Here are some fresh pics:

No idea why their CC area is so ass… honestly a joke to charge $80 for this they shouldnt even be selling them until they fix this issue

Pitaka seems to be slipping on their rubberized cases. The Pro was the best fitting case I had for the 15PM.

Idk. I used the Utraguard for 3 full months.

Fit is great. CC button works perfect. Only looks greasy if I handle it after eating greasy food. Didn’t notice any wonky edges near the buttons.

It was just too smooth and slippery and I ended up dropping the phone a couple times.

Recently got a couple of free trial cases from them for their new Italian leather range which is coming soon.

Very, very good cases. Super slim, great leather, great buttons and CC button
This is a trial version as well. Using it on and off to see if it patinas as expected.

Spoke to them this morning and was advised they are still in the early stages hence I've removed the post for now.

Will put the post aback up again once offered to wider audience.

But yes that leather is extremely good quality and I think people will love it.

I'll definitely be buying both Dark Brown and Tan colour once available to purchase.

p.s might post a sneaky pic later to show off Cosmic Orange and Dark Brown combo.
