Idk. I used the Utraguard for 3 full months.

Fit is great. CC button works perfect. Only looks greasy if I handle it after eating greasy food. Didn’t notice any wonky edges near the buttons.

It was just too smooth and slippery and I ended up dropping the phone a couple times.
Glad you received a good copy. It’s only anecdotal, but I keep seeing people complain about fit and button issues, more so than in years past. That makes it seem as if their QC on this particular model has slipped.

Yeah, I totally realize my comment is based on one data point too. I also know that folks on here are, to put it lightly, prone to nit pick issues as well as non-issues.

That being said, I doubt most non-enthusiasts are buying $80 iPhone cases, so maybe what we’re seeing here IS a good representation of the average users experience.

Regardless, I like my Pitaka, and I’ll probably put it back on my phone after I get tired of the Sheath.

Okay, I was bored. Pitaka UltraGuard in Sunset, does not thrill me at all. The case seems fine. The only real problem I see is the rubber around the CC button is a little swollen and wonky looking. I'll run it for a day or two and give it to my daughter to sell. What the hell, it's only another $80. loss 😕

Here are some fresh pics:

Moft Movas Snap Case for the iPhone Air. This is the vegan leather case Apple should have designed to replace their leather cases. The form factor, fit, protection level, and weight (34 grams) are right in there with the old Apple Leather and Silicone cases (and now the Beats and TechWoven). The quality is there, the hand feel is there, all it’s missing is the Apple logo. All the obvious details are spot on (fit, grip, buttons, camera control, you name it). A really nice case at a reasonable price for the quality. I’ll probably order a couple more in different colors.

WOW, that looks like a million bucks on the white Air 😍 I'm tempted to get the blue or green for the orange beater.
Also like that new wallet they have, but not sure what color to order.

I was originally going to get a Moft for my Air, but decided against it due to having a small cut out for the USB C port.

What other colors you thinking about?

I tried out the moft movas snap before and it unfortunately doesn’t hold up well long term. I saw similar complaints on Amazon but I guess that’s a commonality with vegan leather. However, getting it for $5 is an absolute steal and totally worth it.
What makes it not hold up?

Just wondering what do you have to do to make it wear and not hold up well long term.

I don’t foresee that being an issue for someone who isn’t rough with their device. It’s obviously not a beater type case or rugged.

Reviews I’ve seen on Amazon are people with gashes on their cases obviously from some sort of mishandling.
