Honestly I handled it really well- I’m never rough with my devices. The leather started peeling in random places on its own. Not sure if it was the friction from putting it in my pockets and taking it out over time or what but yeah that was unfortunate. It kind of reminded me of the Apple leather cases from the 12 series and on where the leather eventually peels, regardless of handling it with care, and doesn’t patina like the real leather cases from before. What makes it not hold up?
Just wondering what do you have to do to make it wear and not hold up well long term.
I don’t foresee that being an issue for someone who isn’t rough with their device. It’s obviously not a beater type case or rugged.
Reviews I’ve seen on Amazon are people with gashes on their cases obviously from some sort of mishandling.
There’s reviews that mention this as well on Amazon, twitter, Reddit, etc. and it’s not cause by any sort of drops or roughhousing.
