There's no rule why you should only have one. Expected prices are 499 euro for the 16 giga and 569 euros for the 32 giga version. There's nothing official though yet. We'll know for certain in a few days
All shops will sell it. Prices are 499 euros 16 giga,599 32 giga
Yes,it is the unlocked price
I think it is really pointless that most of the iPhone careers are seling lokecd devices. Personally belive that the iPhone would have even greater progress if they are selling unlocked devices as well. Obviously the unlocked devices in Italy are very popular
Hi! My first message in Macrumors!
I am also thinking about an officially unlocked iPhone 3G S, and somebody told me that it's no longer mandatory to sell unlocked iPhones in Belgium. Looked in Wikipedia (sim lock) and found this: "On April 23, 2009, the European Court of Justice has ruled against Belgium and struck down Belgium's anti-bundling law.[6] The Belgium government has until May 2009 to change the law before the European Commission commence proceedings against Belgium.". Any information about this?
Hopefully, if Belgium doesn't, Italy will continue to sell them unlocked... fingers crossed!
If they sold the iPhone linked to a contract as the only way to purchase the item, there would about ten iPhones aroundHi! My first message in Macrumors!

Belgium is weird as we have the lowest 3G handset penetration in the western world, the carriers want to change this and encourage people to use the network more, locking handsets will stunt growth.
I'm going to be taking a trip to Perugia on the 28th of June. Does anyone if there are any TIM shops in that area?! If so, I will have considerably more luggage on the return journey to London!!

Will the iPhones there be unlocked? I guess they will, but I just ask again.
If so, how would you price them? I would certainly be intrested
The question you should be asking is why do we continue to let the cell phone companies here dictate policy? That's why there isn't a law that mandates that an unlocked version of a phone be sold. Why does apple even bother to produce locked versions?
Warranty service for the iPhone is only ever possible within the country where is was originally purchased.
