iPhone 6(S)/Plus iPhone 6S - Restoring from Backup Stuck at Time Reamaining: estimating...

Omg. Reading this really worked for me!! Now I'm just waiting for all my apps to finish downloading!! True magic!!!

brand new phone and it was stuck at estimating..

opened this thread, and 11 minutes remaining now.

This is not a joke. I'm not even kidding. This legit works. like I'm literally sitting here in disbelief while my family looks at me like I'm crazy. Just read this thread and it works! I'm blown away.

Not kidding! My girlfriend thought I was going crazy-but I have tried 3 days now getting my latest backup on my new iPhone and I always had the same message for hours: "estimating time remaining". After i read the 4th comment in this thread it started loading... Whatever caused this...I believe in it! Thanks
 
This is just plain bull****!!! After 10 times trying, I read the thread and then half way down the 2nd page, the MAGIC happened.... 38 minutes remaining..... I created an account just to tell you THE MAGIC IS REAL!
 
Posting in this thread in the hope that some of the magic will rub off on me. Not working after reading the whole thread. Fingers crossed as am going insane trying to get this sorted.

Another desperate-skeptic-turned-believer here. Mine finished within moments of finishing the thread. I never believed in magic before today.
 
I was reading about the magic happening but i didn't believe it, but HONESTLY by the time i finished reading the 3rd reply i looked down... and BOOM! the restoring was already half way done!

Just wondering if anyone else had this issue or if it is just that a lot of people are restoring their phones and the servers are just overloaded or something.

Same problem but had to trade in old phone so I can't do the iTunes backup.
 
Arghh....Just got my iPhone SE from the Apple store. Couldn't do a 2 way verification in the store because of all the people and noise, now at home verification went through, but only to be stuck on initial setup iCloud time remaining phase.....

The time is 4:46pm in California. Hope this thread will provide some magic!
 
when i starting reading i was looking to see if anyone posted any other solutions other that reading this thread. i kept glancing down at my 6s plus it keeps on showing remaining time: estimating, thus i thought i was getting nowhere. after glancing one more time at my phone i am at 33 mins remaining. reading this thread does work i honestly dont know how but it works.

This magic works. 30 minutes after I posted here, the setup was complete!

I did turn off my phone then back on. It prompted me to enter account password, then everything must went through with lightning speed. I think my first attempt was just frozen screen. Do give it a try.
 
Come on super thread! Work that magic. Been stuck on 3 hours remaining all day! Please Jebus, I'll be a good boy, just make my iphone restore...
