Mine is still "processing" although I have a september 16. release date. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be preparing for shipment already? (I live in Europe)

I suspect it depends on where your shipment comes from. If it comes straight from China it maybe "preparing" earlier but if it comes from a local hub it may change later... Nothing to worry about!

i ordered a 7+256gb Black with Sept 20-22nd delivery, it would be cool if it gets pushed up.

Mine is exactly the same, still says processing items and no charge to the card yet, ordered at 1:15 MST, W52.

I'm going to just forget about the thing until I get a shipping notice that I can track.

Even though it is among the lowest percentage of MacRumors members in the poll above, I'd bet the 32GB iPhone 7 in silver is the highest selling model with the general public. Is that the one the carriers are giving away as a promotion to new customers? Most people I know just want the cheapest and most basic model, and if there is a "free" model offered, they'll gladly take it. We are obviously a different breed here. :)

Wouldn't be so sure about that. My provider would want £149 upfront no matter which capacity phone you go for...
One of the reasons I have a SIM only contract and buy my phones outright from Apple...
I currently have a 128GB iPhone 6 and it's almost full, I can't even remember how I coped with the 32GB of the iPhone 5!

If you mean the charge on your credit card is pending, then that's right. It'll clear in about 5 working days...

Oh awesome! Thank you, first pre order, was concerned it meant something bad lol. So the money won't come out til it's pretty much here?

Pretty much yeah, standard credit card processing from here on... You usually get a 1$/€/£ pending charge (them checking your card details are good etc...) and then they hit you with the full amount, replacing the low value charge when they're ready to dispatch...

So, I ordered this item using my AT&T Next plan upgrade option. It is now showing November ;-(
Q: If I cancel, does the system automatically reset my upgrade to available?
