I have a 128gb + in silver scheduled for sep 16. Ordered just after the site came up. For the last 3 days my status was preparing for shipping. Today I am back to processing but my date is still the same. I assume I will still get in Friday but it's weird and making me paranoid. Anyone else have that happen?

I have an SE now and love it.. I have a 7 on the way for delivery on Friday and the thought of the bigger 7 makes me cringe a little.. There is NO WAY I'd ever consider something as ginormous as the plus... If I wanted a tablet, I'd but an iPad mini.. LOL
That's kinda my line of thinking. The 7 Plus has 3GB of memory (the 7 only has 2GB). The extra potential performance and battery life is what convinced me.

I'm thinking of swapping my 7+ 128GB for a 7 128GB or 256GB. I dunno.

I got the black 7 128... I am going to keep my SE just in case the 7 ends up being to large... The Plus is ginormous! I get it, some people like the larger phones but not this kid! :)

I am slightly apprehensive about moving to a 7 plus from a 6 but I can't pickup my old 5 without feeling like its a toy. The 4.7 is a great balance despite being slightly too big for easy one handed operation but I am looking forward to the better battery, camera, and real estate of the plus.

Noted. I had mine routed to an official hub.

If only I had this experience. This is completely off-topic but a word of warning:

Avoid using Access Points if you can. (They are UPS Stores.) They are franchised and you are left at the mercy of the owner, who in my case, did not show up to open his store during business hours for two days. Thankfully, I work closely with the retail shipping industry so I was able to get in touch with the district manager. The owner wasn't very happy with me but he was holding a paycheck in his store and didn't give anyone a reason why he failed to open his store during business hours.

Do you want this to happen with your iPhone?

I have never liked UPS and they don't seem to like me very much.

I have a 6S, but I loved the form factor of my 5S and the SE. That said, I ordered a 7+ this go round (black/256GB). Why would I do something so seemingly inconsistent? There are a few reasons. I want the improved features (battery life, camera, memory). I have a mac mini, a mac book, a pc laptop, and a couple of iPads at my disposal, but I would estimate I end up using my phone more than 90% of the time, even when other devices are available. So, I really want the extra real estate for surfing and using apps. I agree that using the 7+ as a phone handset seems awkward, if not ridiculous, but I've been using wireless earbuds and headphones almost exclusively for years. I keep a set or two of wired earbuds around for dead battery emergencies, but I don't use them otherwise. My bigger concern (no pun intended) is dealing with the increased size when the phone is in my pocket, but I've used a few 6+ and 6S+ iphones over the past few months, and I really like the feel of the phone in my hands.

Now, if I could just get those hands on my new "ginormous" phone sooner than the end of the month, I'd be a bit more excited. But like many others here, this is the first time in several years that I didn't get a launch day delivery date. Annoying when you stay up and complete your order within a few minutes of the pre-order process going live, but that's life (at least when you're a chump like me who keeps giving his money Apple). Oh well, hopefully I'll find out sooner rather than later that I really like my new 7+.

Hmm. My delivery date is Sep 20-22 and my order is still processing..
It could aalready be stateside, too. I have a delivery date of 9/16 and mine's still processing as well. Same thing happened with my 6+, if I'm not mistaken. It was already here, so I saw no movement until the Wednesday or Thursday before launch day.
