Why did you regret it?

Even with my six, I've said if I can get the iPhone 7 version of an SE I would probably get it.

Could you imagine a SE with the battery of a 7+ and 1080 screen? Ohh goodness!

I missed the size. It's seems huge but after a week or two you get used to it and don't even notice it anymore (at least I didn't). Also the battery on the plus blows the base model out of the water. I ended up needing a battery case for my 6S. That was the thing I missed the most when I downsized.

Don't think order number means anything. Somebody who ordered a model that is more available way after somebody who ordered one in high demand would still have theirs shipped first.

My order number starts with W45 and I'm sitting on an estimated delivery date of Sept. 23-27. 7 Plus 256GB Black (matte).

Yes, it means nothing in that regard. Mine begins with W50 and I ordered at 12:04am PDT and am preparing to ship and have a UPS tracking number. 09/16 delivery.

I ordered for in-store pickup on the 16th. I've never done that before - what should I expect? Still shows processing. When should the status change, and to what? Obviously not preparing for shipping.

I am wondering the same thing as I'm in the same situation this year. Does anyone have any experience about when the status changes or what happens?

Thats just strange, I`m at 3:11 same phone and mine says 9/27-9/29, but yours is later, but ship dates are earlier... strange.. I have an order for the watch and that says 16th... at least something on the big day.

I had 27-29 but called customer service to make sure they had the right CC and got a shipping upgrade due to how long I was on hold.....2 hours 52 minutes, which would have sucked more if I were not on the computer working anyway.

I'll probably get it on the 30th...

Yeah, well, hence my statement of getting the phone sometime between the 16th and the end of the month.

I do know that if I don't get by the 27th, it sits at UPS for a month as I will be on a big magazine assignment in the backcountry for Outside beyond that date.

They are - all my iPhone pre-orders have always come Next Day Air. Pre-orders way back in the day (like iMac G5) came other ways, but iPhones have always been Next Day. I think the only thing the "upgraded" shipping really changes is how the website calculates the dates. I think that the "upgraded" shipping dates are what the real dates once it shipped would have changed to anyway. I think it's all smoke and mirrors.

Yup...

Ordered my black 7 128 @ 12:06 AM and it's scheduled for the 16th.. I have not got shipping notice yet but I am not worried about it at all..

Some units are probably already in the US and they may not update to shipped until Wednesday.... I dunno, I ain't sweating it and I am 99.9% confident I will have it on the 16th.
