iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

I called UPS this morning to make sure they got my delivery change request and the rep was all weird on the phone. She mentioned that the reason my status is showing "EXCEPTION" is because my package was already on the truck. Then she put me on hold and came back and said everything is fine, I will be able to pick it up at the hub and didn't mention the truck again - just said it's still in transit.
Now that I look at my tracking info, the scans seem weird:
Order Processed: Ready for UPS - 9/11/16 7:12AM
Origin Scan: ZhengZhou, CN - 9/11/16 10:27AM
Location Scan: ZhengZhou, CN - 9/11/16 8:06PM
Departure Scan: ZhengZhou, CN - 9/11/16 8:35PM
Arrival Scan: ZhengZhou, CN - 9/11/16 9:45PM
Why do I have a departure scan from ZhengZhou followed by an arrival scan at ZhengZhou only 70 minutes later?
Now that I look at my tracking info, the scans seem weird:

just talked to apple support. they haven't been very helpful (just a little bit) and they only said that my iphone & case will be delivered on the date provided on the order status page.
They are probably tired of people calling asking something that they have no control over, every time I think it would be cool to get a part time job at Apple for the discounts I remember threads like these.
Just checked with Apple and they didn't confirm that is my tracking number. They just said that my order is preparing for shipment.
"At this time your order is preparing to ship. Once it does ship you’ll be sent a shipment notification email with tracking information. You’ll also be able to track this online at apple.com/orderstatus."
Shipping? I think you misspelled, well, you know...

I ordered an iPhone 7 Plus, 256 GB; and, signed up for the Apple Upgrade Program at around 12:08 (PST). I paid for expedited shipping and still got a date of 9/23 to 9/27 w/ 2-3 Business Day Delivery. The crazy part is that I got a phone call from Apple on Saturday night from a representative who wanted to confirm that I made the order on Friday morning. When I asked if there was a problem, he said that it was just a courtesy call; and, that he would push through the order and I should get a tracking number. I still haven't seen anything. Has anyone else received a call from Apple? I've never had this happen before.

When your phone arrives and after you set it up, then call Apple and add AppleCare. They'll run a remote diagnostic on the phone to verify it still works.
My order is still pending and my iPhone is not showing up in the support profile yet so I guess that it'll only show up in UPS when it's preparing for shipment or something..

That's perfectly normal. I remember wondering the same thing last year when I ordered my MacBook Pro and it came from China directly.
Interesting. I've seen people say the ship date is from release date, but your screenshot shows it is from order date. So those of us with 6-8 business day shipments should see our shipment dates between the 19th and 21st. So we should get deliveries before the 27-29 dates estimated.

I feel like the 7 + Jet Black shipping dates are gonna stay the same... Which is disappointing since we all stayed up and apple's site wouldn't work properly but it is what it is.. Here is my info-

Shipping - 10/4 - 10/10
At least I will get in sooner rather than Nov.
