I've always sold my "older" phone. Usually on eBay or Swappa and I get pretty good for them. I got $685 for my Space Gray 6S 128GB in mint condition. However I've come to the conclusion that since I upgrade literally every year, and sometimes it's a hassle to sell my phone, I will be doing the Next Every Year with AT&T. That way I can upgrade every year and just trade-in my previous phone.

Yeah, I have sold some previous ones myself as well as give them to family members. I went with AT&T Next this year too. It's a perfect plan for me and seems pretty fair. Being able to trade in after 12 months will be much easier than finding a buyer and dealing with shipping it.

I find it odd that UPS will acknowledge my iPhone has shipped. While Apple is in denial with my current status of preparing to ship.

The way I look at it, the phone hasn't "shipped" to your house. It's not even in the U.S. yet in most cases. It's in transit, but it's not being shipped to you yet.

Jesus Christ dude, listening to air traffic control in Alaska for the sole purpose of tracking a cell phone? Don't worry ou're phone will get to you eventually.

As many others will tell you, it's just for fun. It's excitement. Most of us share it.

Apple info never updated for me in the past until day or two before delivery...

Right, because as I said above, it's not technically "shipped" until UPS is moving it from its Louisville hub.

I bought 2 phones 1 7+ 128gb rose gold delivers on 9/16 and 1 7+ 128gb jet black delivers in November. I have 2 pending charges on my Amex for $456.18. The rose gold is preparing for shipment and the jet black is still processing.

Why do I have 2 pending charges? Is there a possibility the jet black will ship sooner than November?

I'll add my info into the fray:

Ordered 7+ jet at 3:34a EST (ship says 10/18 - 10/31) and a 7 jet (10/4-10/10) at 3:36a EST.

Both still in processing.

This same thing happens with my 6+ as far as Halloween date initially l and I ended up getting it about 5 days after release date if memory serves.

I went though Apple this time versus ATT thinking it would help order quicker but it didn't really.

We'll see.

Ordered my 7+ Jet Black 256gb at 1:15 mdt 10/18 10/31 delivery date. My black leather case is finally preparing for shipping though

It has happened in the past. Thats why I have been telling people to stop calling Apple because alot of time it will ship out sooner than the expected date.

I found movement through the UPS tracking trick. Go to UPS Tracking, select Track by Reference, enter your Apple order number, but leave off the last two digits and don't put in other details such at zip code.

This might locate your phone in the system.
Ugh it didn't work.

Ordered 2 IPhone 7 jet black 128. Tried to order one on app, got all the way through the ordering process and pressed order. While it was loading I tried to order the second one online, after crashing once I finally got through with a September 16 date. After that went trough my app crashed. Tried to order the second one through the website and it crashed a couple more times. Finally got through on the app but with an October 4-10 date!! There was only like a 10 min difference in ordering times. September 16 phone is PFS and October one is still processing. Hoping that the October phone comes earlier. Has anybody had movement on jet black 128 nonplus with october 4 date?
