Hello! New here to post but read the forum every year! Love this thread so insightful and exciting!

I feel like the 7 + Jet Black shipping dates are gonna stay the same... Which is disappointing since we all stayed up and apple's site wouldn't work properly but it is what it is.. Here is my info-

Jet black 256GB 7 + ATT
Confirmation email - 2:13 AM Central
Shipping - 10/4 - 10/10

At least I will get in sooner rather than Nov.
Same situation as you exactly except I ordered 128 GB. I did chat with Apple rep who added expedited 2-3 business day shipping which changed delivery dates to Sept. 30 - Oct. 6, but now I understand that is meaningless as there is no such thing as expeditated shipping as iPhones already ship with expedited shipping although new dates are probably what the more accurate dates were all along.

I first ordered a standard 7 128 GB Rose Gold (AT&T) for my wife using the app as soon as it went live (around 12:10-12:15 PST), and as she was finishing up that order, I started ordering a 7 Plus 128 GB Matte Black (AT&T) for myself through the website. Unfortunately, hers has a delivery date of 9/16 and mine is 10/4-10/10. So after getting over the initial shock of having to wait, my shock turned to anger and I went and pre-ordered the same thing from Best Buy, although their site didn't give me an option to pay for it up front, so I had to pay via AT&T Next installments, which tacked on a stupid $15 activation fee. Whatever, not a huge deal because the confirmation email from Best Buy says "Get it by: Fri 9/16", so hopefully that is the case and I can just cancel the one from Apple.com before it ships.

Yeah, because you not knowing YOUR password to VERIZON is definitely, without a doubt, Apple's fault.

Apple needs to stop doing "account verification" for Verizon iPhones when ordering "pay in full." There is absolutely no reason why Apple needs to get this information when paying in full. This is just Verizon being Verizon. (AT&T does it too). Once again, buying the T-Mobile version since it's the only one that doesn't make me have to jump through those account verification hoops. I am on AT&T GoPhone (still the cheapest plan by a long shot) and I always pay in full; yet whenever I try to order any phone that has a CDMA radio for sure in it on launch day---I go through that EVERY SINGLE time. Thank god T-Mobile is so disconnected from this process.

How long after pre-ordering did you guys see a charge attempt? Three days later and I have nothing. Maybe once they start preparing it for shipping?

Yep, same here. My dad is currently using my old iPhone 5. I'll be giving him my 6 next weekend. His birthday is tomorrow and we are celebrating it next Saturday so the timing is perfect. He's tough on phones so I'll buy him an Otterbox case for his birthday and include my iPhone 6. I know he'll be very pleased.

that is awesome +4pts

At least those of us who are ON Verizon and pay full price can preorder now. This is the first year the pay in full option has been there for me. It's always tried to force an upgrade and my only choice was to line up if I wanted one on launch day.

And as a Verizon customer, I'm glad they ask for credentials. It's keeps non-Verizon customers who should be getting a different model from taking all of our stock.

Someone should start separate threads by delivery dates 9/16, 9/23-9/27, 9/27-9/29..... Ect
It should be by model reallly with the latest time stamp for a unit that has shipping

i.e. I have a Apple ordered ATT 128 Matte Black time stamp 16 minutes. If I knew time stamps at 10 minutes and 15 minutes were getting moved to shipping that's be interesting

Has anyone who has gotten a serial number from the support site actually gotten any of the serial number searches to work? Seems like the new serials from the new phones aren't in any systems yet, which makes total sense to me, but I am curious if anyone else has had any luck.

Wheels down in Alaska. Phone is on the continent. Probably wont see movement for several more hours as the next route gets sorted. Most will go to Louisville, some to west coast.

most of the times Apple release the information by size/color/gigs......which is why we aren't seeing movement on Matte and Jet Black.....Silvers will ship first...then Matte.....then Jet Black.....sit back and watch....happens every year with the different colors...they ship the phones in less demand first and so on...
