I believe so -- I think the only requirement is that whoever signs for the package has to be a legal adult. I know my daughter signed for me on a delivery.
That's only with "Adult Signature Required" parcels, such as those containing alcohol or tobacco.

if you don't have tracking at all then i wouldn't expect a shipment. which parcel carrier did you attempt to track it through? if you tried UPS try FedEx. if you tried fedex try ups.

With that being said, does anyone know what they mean exactly by being able to pick up early? For example, if I am not able to pickup my phone on Friday because it was late on Friday, how early can I be able to pick it up on Saturday, the store that I'm having it shipped to opens at 9:00am on Saturdays but I have to work so can I come in at like 7:00am and pick it up or is that even too early for early pickup?

Last year my iPhone arrived the Tampa UPS distribution center about 0530 am on day of delivery, which from what I have read in other posts is fairly standard (0'dark thirty arrival at distro center).

Jet black 128gb order at 12:08PST.. got shipping date of sept 26.. processing items, initially had a pending charge but dropped off. Also ordered Apple Watch and same status, delivery on sept 26th..

Pretty lame, considering the fact that the site went live for me at 12:07PST.. looks like no release date products for me..

Ok, the Apple guy I spoke with said they're shipping overnight tonight and the status won't change to reflect that until they do. The pre-ordered phones are in Australia already, so it's just a case of express delivery overnight. I was assured my new phone will arrive tomorrow. Yours should as well. Phew.

Here is my assumption... seeing how typically Apple ships faster than projected on pre-orders, I am thinking quite a few of the phones that weren't projected for launch day delivery but within the week of launch may have been reassigned to store stock to help cover the screw ups they had with the IUP users. These pre-orders would have showed up earlier than their projected arrival dates so Apple would be able to swap them to store stock while still meeting their expected shipping/arrival dates they originally gave to those who pre-ordered them. This would definitely explain why there as a processing charge that was dropped. Just a thought.
