Yeah they finally got the info why we got diverted to Taiwan, so many left Hong Kong and flew to west to avoid the Hurricane but obviously ours did not.

It's 12 days from now. UPS can certainly pull that off, regardless of what Apple's status says. Mine's still sitting at Preparing for Shipment, according to Apple, and yet I know from tracking it that it's currently on a goodwill tour of the Far East, with no end in sight.
Right, I expect that I'll get it by that date. What I'm saying is that I don't get how so many people are getting them tomorrow. I know that's on time, so when I say "getting them so fast," I mean on time, considering the wait on many orders. I actually pre-ordered this one sooner than I have in the past (usually the next morning) but ordered right when pre-order started this time (since I was ordering a Watch, too, and remember the wait last time), but this is the first time I haven't gotten my order on the day of the actual release.
so assuming my phone gets to Louisville at 1:10AM EDT via UPS6061 (http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS6061), would they drive my phone to my local hub (Northern VA, 8.5 hour drive) or would they get it on an overnight flight and fly it then run it over to the local hub? i'm thinking the latter...

Ah, gotcha. What config did you order? If it was one of the black 7 Pluses, there's your problem. Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you. I ordered a 256GB RG 7+ with confirmation rec'd at 3:11 and mine is set to come tomorrow (assuming it doesn't also stop in Korea and Vietnam, just for funsies).
So I had an Origin Scan in Shanghai on Monday, 9/12 - and my status hasn't changed since. It still says that it's scheduled to deliver tomorrow, but it hasn't moved in so long I'm getting a tad worried.
I was in the same boat until a few minutes ago when mine had an import scan in Louisville KY. With so many packages to scan at each point I'm sure they miss some here and there.
I'm the same. Estimated Sept. 26-28 delivery and processing. I got up early and got my order in but I guess it got bumped. Wondering when we'all see this next wave start to show movement? Guess next week?
Oh didn't know that! Well crap mine is in Louisville as well. Just saw the import scan. Wonder why they would delay it there? I'll keep checking mine.
mines in Ky since sept 13 2016 it's coming Tommorw when will it leave KY to my local ups
problem is, don't see a flight out of Louisville to an airport near me until like 730 in the morning...sooo now i'm thinking i won't get my phone 'til Monday.
Would have been nice if that was the case. Best case I get mine by the 21st worst case the 28th.
I think all bets are off, now. If UPS has to get it on a plane for 9/16 delivery, then that's what they'll do. Once I thought that my package would never make the drive on a truck from Louisville to Fort Worth for the scheduled next day delivery, and UPS apparently thought so too because it showed up at DFW airport a short time after hitting Louisville.
I wouldn't be terribly surprised if my package went straight from Alaska to DFW if that's what was needed to deliver tomorrow.
I had the 2-3 week window with the 6, it shipped the Saturday after launch and I got it the Tuesday after launch.
There is a tiny, tiny island on the flight path called Attu Station. If I see an arrival scan, I'm going to lose every ounce of my s**t. LMAO
Same - we must've been flight buddies from Anchorage. I just checked and mine finally has the import scan at 9:29 this morning in Louisville.
I'm a little concerned as I pulled it up in my UPS app first and it says Exception from the home page, but when I actually looked at the tracking in app and online, it doesn't say anything about an Exception.
I did change to hold it at the UPS CC in Northern Virginia earlier this morning, so maybe that has something to do with it.
