It seems that Apple didn't make nearly enough of the two new colors, or Plus models in general once again. They never learn, or they just don't care cause they know we will obsess in forums like this for weeks....

Not here. I don't think we will either if it was a quick stop. But then again, UPS is usually 30 mins to an hour behind on updating our tracking too.
Yikes, I feel bad for people who cancelled their orders for black/jet black 7 Pluses in the hopes of getting one in store tomorrow!

I think all bets are off, now. If UPS has to get it on a plane for 9/16 delivery, then that's what they'll do. Once I thought that my package would never make the drive on a truck from Louisville to Fort Worth for the scheduled next day delivery, and UPS apparently thought so too because it showed up at DFW airport a short time after hitting Louisville.I wouldn't be terribly surprised if my package went straight from Alaska to DFW if that's what was needed to deliver tomorrow.
oh riiiight. i forgot about that. they could totally do mine Anchorage to DC airport or something to get it to me. sweet! thanks for this positive encouragement

I ordered Black 7+ 256 (not Jet Black - that was appealing, but mostly useless, since I'd have a case on it).
I know it's a popular configuration, but figured 10 minutes after pre-order started should have been fine. Though (and I don't know if it's a regional thing or not), pre-order for me didn't start until about 3:15am, ordering simply wasn't an option until then.
I'm not complaining
When I ordered my first Watch (right when pre-order started), I waited more than a month, and I was one of the lucky ones.
I got it for the first time because I am getting old and my eyes seem to be even older. I prefer not to carry around such a big phone, but alas...
The departure scan from Taiwan and the arrival scan in Japan showed up in UPS My Choice at around the same time. Still showing on-time for delivery on Friday.
I also got an Import scan in Louisville for my 7.
I did. But I was also considering moving from the 6 to the 6s + last year. More to do with size for me, as the only real difference is more ram and dual cameras as far as I know
Yup, that happened to me when I first changed mine to a hold request. Same thing, app said "Exception" but website didn't. It'll go away at some point today I'm sure.
This is why I didn't cancel my order yet. There will be LIMITED supplies of 7+ at launch. It is the PREORDERS that are sold out. Although I ordered JB, I would settle for a black. I would prefer a black border, but since I already have Space Gray, I'm hoping for a change.
How many of you are going to cancel delivery and pick up the phone at UPS tomorrow? I wonder if it makes sense to do so because I don't work tomorrow, but at the same time I want to get my phone as early as possible and go out and do my stuff
Prob overnight tonight at like 2am. They stage them out of Ky and send them out overnight like nextday air that mostly all goes through Ky overnight on UPS
