not necessarily... I don't have any personal experience.. but some people have been saying that those 3rd party owned UPS stores have been known to not have/make the phone available til the next day...
I, personally, wouldn't have chanced it... I hope yours is ok!
What's the news on us TaiwanOsamaAlaska kids? When does it leave/land? Mine had always said 16th so that's good!
If it's a UPS Customer Center, then you can pick it up tomorrow during their normal business hours. If it is just a UPS store, then you just got delayed 24 hours before you can pick it up.
6061 leaves for Louisville in little over half hour. I think that we will all see our phones tomorrow now that it is at that point.

ya... that's kinda what's been said in past years... I know I've read this year that people planned to go to the store and cancel if they could get one... I wondered if something had changed!
I thought about doing that one year (forget which one) but then apple put us to PFS the day before release! I swore they did it just so we couldn't cancel and get one in the store!
Ugh! Beyond annoying. I really hate I pre-ordered. I'm way too impatient. Never doing this again.
Ugh. Every two years I go through this. No exercise, no socializing, nothing but obsessively refreshing web pages for hours at a time. Damn you, "Preparing for Shipment"!

ya... but look at the people who didn't preorder this year: no pluses in the store! no telling how long til they get caught up enough to put stock in the stores! I always take my chances with preordering.. the times I've had issues, that I haven't gotten it release day.. I admit I'm always really pissed off! but at least I have one or know I have one coming!
I have a feeling next year is going to be worse!
haha! well I did have to get up and march at my desk for one minute every hour to get my move credit on my watch!

I agree! Probably a lot worse. I'm going to up my preorder game next year. I kinda was slacking this year thinking I would be okay and missed launched day delivery.
