Just picked up my iPhone 7 Black 256gb 5 hours ahead of my appointment.

Managed to snag the exact Watch model I wanted (Space Grey 42mm with Black Nylon) as a walk-in purchase after cancelling my preorder which would otherwise ship in 2 weeks. The whole process was as seamless as it could be.

Great service.

Florida folks, UPS has me scratching my head -- I am in Tampa. When my phone left Louisville this afternoon, I was thinking it was on its way to Orlando. Needless to say, I was QUITE suprised to get an arrival notification for Jacksonville. Did this happen to other central Floridians?
I think I remember mine hitting Jacksonville first in the past as well, before it then headed to Orlando.

While we are killing time hitting refresh, I don't think this has been asked yet, but what is everyone upgrading *from*? Also, put in what you are upgrading to, for reference. I will start it off:

128GB iPhone 6 Silver -> 256GB iPhone 7 Silver

Edit: Don't shun me for not getting a plus! I went back and forth, and still kind of want one, but worried about one-handed use.

Space Gray 64GB 6S --> Matte Black 128GB 7+

Made the jump!

Mine is almost here, tomorrow can't come quick enough!!!!!

We must be on the same pallet! Mine landed 5:24pm in Windsor Locks too. Headed just south of Boston. Where's yours going?

Just received an arrival from Louisville, KY to Sylmar, CA. Can't believe this was in China just two days ago. Fingers crossed for an early delivery tomorrow ^__^
Haha, same!! We must've been on the same flight. Lol. (Also, who knew it was going to Sylmar. Not Ontario)

I get sick of the "all hype" and "fanboy" talk (some earlier in this thread that I was reading). If it was all hype, people would buy and then be disappointed. Even people who aren't fanboys end up liking iPhones. I know many, many people who got iPhones, love them and had never used a mac. They weren't fanboys.

As for the "hype" this year, there is no way that Apple likes the news about being sold out of iPhone 7+. All the analysts know its because of supply. Apple saying they aren't going to report sales numbers is big. They LOVE to report those. Not hype.

Going from my 2-year old Gold iPhone 6 Plus 64GB (longest time I've EVER kept the same phone) to a Rose Gold 7 plus 128GB...MUST. HAVE. THAT. CAMERA

I agree, this is the longest I've had a phone also, 6+ 64GB SG. I am going to a Gold 7+ 128GB. It was all about the camera.

My 7 just arrived, it is just 20 miles away at a UPS hub. Will they let me pick it up today or do they have strict orders from Apple to hold until tomorrow?

Amazing seeing some of the prices for jet black on eBay. $2-3k (I don't believe the ones that are over $10k). I should have bought a couple. They were available for sept 27-29 when I got mine, but I didn't want it.

I'm moving from a 64GB space gray 6S to a matte black 128GB 7+. The camera upgrade was my main motivator and I'm a little nervous about the size. My phone arrived in Seattle this afternoon and is scheduled to be in my hands by the end of the day tomorrow

The camera (and extra battery life) were the two main reasons that I was really considering the Plus, and, like I said, I still might want to try to return mine and switch, as I am still on the fence about it, but I am really glad that the camera on the non-Plus is exactly the same as the plus, with the exception of the 2x zoom lens. They both have image stabilization this time, and, unless you are zoomed, the photos from the Plus and the non-Plus should look exactly the same with the 7s, which is awesome.

All of that said, 2x optical zoom would be REALLY nice in some instances. I think I am just trying to tell myself that the regular 7 camera is still going to be amazing, I just won't get the 2x optical zoom. The fake bokeh portrait stuff seems more gimmicky to me. I am a semi-pro photographer, and that feature doesn't really entice me at all.
