iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

I got the same thing, but then I got an email from Apple saying "your order WXXXXXXXXXX is being processed" and all the info was right, so I believe it went through.
it doesn't explain how it slipped from ontime to 2-3 weeks within 15 seconds though.
Apparently, the Apple Store app on the iPhone is better than the Apple Store app on the iPad for placing these orders.
"We have an iPhone for you... We can't reach the carrier systems to process your order, but we have reserved an iPhone for you."

If you are in USA, it will likely ship via UPS. Once you get the ship notice, you can request it held at a UPS Customer Service or Retail site - look up one near you. The UPS app lets you do this, you might need to sign up for My Choice (free). In my case, the Customer service site is where it sorts from so I had it 8:30 when they opened. The Retail site (UPS Store) will depend on when the truck delivers to them.FML. I wanted the in store pickup option but it wasn't available... Now it is up to 4 - 6 weeks.
Am I better off going to my nearest Apple Store on the 16th? I don't have classes on Fridays, so...
I got an error message on the App, so I continued with the apple website, and successfully ordered.

However, I got two confirmation emails. It seems the App order went through - now I have two orders...
I'll let the dust settle and contact apple in a few days to make sure only one order is placed.
Logging onto my apple account and checking "order status" only the second order appears...
If you get any strange messages check your order status to make sure it's there...
Finished this whole process by about 3:21pm EST. Not too bad....

Verizon is offering discount on the pay per month thing. thats probably saying $36 per month for 12 months
That is not the ship date. That is the "receive by" date. I just put in my order at Verizon for 128 gb 7+ Black and it said that I will receive it by the 23rd.
I did, but no email yet. Just a reservation number and a site to check the status. When I go to check the status the site is down.
My experince was just the opposite. I couldn't get in on the app on the iPhone right away but I could on my iPad. Weird.
Yes. I got a 256 GB "Black" model for 9/16 delivery. Had to go through the entire sign up process - my credit card has been charged by "IPHONE CITIZENSONELOAN".
