apple upgrade program failed me badly, tried to get in twice and hung and after my final time, now hsipping is 4-6 weeks away. it's really turning me off, maybe i should just keep my 6.

Yes. I got a 256 GB "Black" model for 9/16 delivery. Had to go through the entire sign up process - my credit card has been charged by "IPHONE CITIZENSONELOAN".

Did you do monthly? Mine was with a 2yr contract.

My apple app literally just came up and the 7 plus 128 black is already 2-3 weeks out.

Me too. Mine changed from the 16th, to the 23rd then Oct something, in my cart while I was trying to pay $10 extra for a faster delivery time.

I guess I lucked out because I was able to get the 7 Plus in Black for in store pickup on Sep 16 after it changed to Sep 23-26 ship date for having it shipped.

If you went with Apple Upgrade prog or ATT Next, does that mean you'll have to go to the store to trade up next year - instead of pre-ordering?

Yes, since you trade in the phone you already have if you've only been in the program for a year. The program therefore works best for people who have local stores. You're prompted to choose a store and pickup time.

Not a single Jet Black 7 Plus at any Apple Store in Florida at 3am? That smells fishy as heck! Apple is doing something with the Jet blacks to not have a SINGLE ONE in EITHER capacity available in the entire state!

i got through on the app at 3:02est and was able to get the black 128gb at&t for the 16th, putting it in my favorites helped a lot!

Yeah I had it in favorites too but the page wouldn't load on any device for any reason before 3:08

Need some help/clarification.

I currently have a iP6+ via Apple upgrade program from last yr. So when i went to pre-order my phone, I got to the 'place your order' page on the Apple Store app...but i didn't see anything about the upgrade program, so i just went ahead and placed the order. It charged my card, but I'm wondering if there's a way i can get it converted as an 'upgrade' and get a refund.

Thoughts?

When you go pick up your phone just talk to the specialist, I'm sure they'll be able to give you a refund and proceed with the upgrade program!

I'd just like to say, on behalf of many of us, thank you Apple for another completely CRAP ordering experience.

You realize it's not really Apple's fault. They have to connect to the carriers systems to verify. Those systems are usually crap.

Verizon is offering discount on the pay per month thing. thats probably saying $36 per month for 12 months

Verizon also gave me 2gb of extra data per month for free when I upgraded

Thru Apple the Jett black sold out at 12:04 pst a buddy got in at that time and both black were gone I got in at 12:03 pst and was able to get 4 plus 128gb Jett and black for 9/16 deivery

My email confirmation for a 256GB Jet Black came in at 3:14 PST for a 9/16 delivery.

Gave up on Apple store app. Completed orders for two phones via ATT (had to do one at a time) at around 12:38 PDT.

Est shipping day was Sep 27th

Looks like no one wanted a 7 128gb rose gold like me.. still showing as Sept 16. But it was still fun staying up/waking up with you all! This was my first time preordering. Other than the slight delay in the Apple Store opening, everything went pretty smooth for me.
