Why won't it let me order a 128GB 7 by buying full retail? I placed my 7+ order when the store went live but figured I'd order a 7 too just in case I don't love the size and I'll return whatever one I don't want. It's blocking me from placing another order with my number even though I'm buying out right.

Welp....this is the first time since the launch of the orignal iPhone that I won't have the new device on launch day....in spite of spamming refresh since 11:55 and placing my order within a couple minutes of the store going live, my 7+ JB 256 won't arrive until October.

Very surprised. Can't remember the last time a launch sold out so fast.

In the past ATT's ship date this early in the pre-order was later than it ended up being. I got some Sep 27th date at around 12:38 PDT but suspect there's a good chance it may ship by 16th.

Mine was stuck on checking Verizon account. It said don't worry. One is reserved for you for Sept 16th, but it never went through!

That's what happened to me too. When you check to confirm it, it says that when they can contact the network (att) they will email me and I'll have 24 hrs to confirm. I'm just worried I won't get the pick up date for the 16th because of this.

Glad I got in before the circus. All AT&T Jet Black 7 Plus Models are shipping in November.

It's weird that mostly all jet blacks are getting shipped around that frame, haven't seen one showing before sept 26th

No. Your card doesn't get charged until just before it ships.

The AT&T verification servers were melting. I got HTML errors in the Apple Store app for several minutes before the order went through.

Apple trumped up the Jet Black and it's pretty obvious they dont have any of these yet as nobody got them next week. They must have trouble with the manufacturing of that finish and that is why all of them are pushed out a min of 2+ weeks. I got Oct 4-10th. Will likely just cancel.

It seems like most of the delayed ones were then 7+.
I was able to get Sept. 16th, ordered at 12:07, it was a 7, 256GB Jet Black

Crap so I just realized AT&T still has 16th delivery for the Rose gold 128 7+. Can I cancel my Apple store order and re order with ATT? Or am I screwed?

What time did you actually get your order in? There seems to be some luck involved... the store does not come up simultaneously everywhere. I was ordered and done on my phone while hitting refresh on the laptop still showed the be back soon message (iphone was on LTE).

It's the same crap every year. If you don't order within the first 10 minutes, then you have to wait a month. They do this on purpose I'm sure.

I was able to grab a 256GB Matte Black (AT&T) with no issues. Too bad I have to wait an extra week for it I could have gotten a 128 GB on launch day, but I need the extra space so I don't mind waiting a few extra days. Besides, my order says this:

Ships: 6-8 business days
Delivers: Sep 23 - Sep 27 by 2-3 Business Days

Does that mean that it could possibly SHIP 6-8 business days from TODAY? and MAYBE (just MAYBE...) arrive on my doorstep the morning of the 16th or the 17th? Or am I being too hopeful and should just prepare for a September 23-27th delivery?

It will probably come from China so expect 3-7 days just for the transit
