So, how likely is it that my date will get bumped closer if I'm in October?

Or should I just go back to bed and dream...lol

No experience ordering via apple
 
Placed a separate order for my case after I got through for my 7+. Card's been charged for the case, but not the phone. Is it possible my phone order gets canceled?

I think we go through this every year, and the answer is no. If they received your order, you're good.

Apple totally does this **** on purpose. For sure. Its got nothing to do with supply and demand or any **** like that.

Very surprised. Can't remember the last time a launch sold out so fast.

same boat. Refreshed iPad, iPhone, and mac. still have Oct. delivery.
 
I am confused. I ordered and the only option I had was to have it shipped to me (iPhone upgrade program). Said all the stores in NJ were not available. Did't think you could do the iPhone upgrade program outside of the physical store. Also, credit card was already charged, which is a good thing.

When I first logged in, 7+ 128 in Jet black was available on Verizon for 9/26 delivery. Apparently that lasted only a minute or two.

I was on the fence about black va jet black, so I went with black to get it on launch day.
 
Just got a 128gb Matte Black delivering on 9/16! So stoked!

I'm glad I was able to pre-order.. Will get it on the 16th as well.. it went smooth

I jumped into a pool with my iPhone 6 which I was going to keep, tried to order through t-mobile and had issues came over and ordered here, no issues..

Black 128GB Sep. 16th so awesome since I'll be going to Brazil on the 28th

ATT is the worst. Trying to get a 126GB JB 7 for 35 min of their eligibility tracker being broke. Tried iPad app, iPhone app, Apple Website. All didn't work. Finally got through and got my "bag" filled and order finalized for a Sept 16th delivery. But that ridiculous.

TL;DR - 7, 128GB, JB ordered at 0342EST for 9/16 arrival.
Good luck to those still waiting!








Just kidding. My wife wanted a gold 128 and that what I got for the 16th. Just thought heart attacks I caused might be fun!

I'll let the dust settle and contact apple in a few days to make sure only one order is placed.
Logging onto my apple account and checking "order status" only the second order appears...

If you get any strange messages check your order status to make sure it's there...

Finished this whole process by about 3:21pm EST. Not too bad....

Update: - so now the second order is in my order history... I'll have to figure out how to cancel that one...
 
I'll just try to do in-store pickup after the hype dies down. Plus now I can go and look at the two black colors before I decide.
 
"carrier can't be reached" reservation for 128 gb black plus with sprint. enrolled in the upgrade program. anyone know what this means as far as a shipping date?

no email yet. guessing this means i'm out for launch day?
 
Phew I just made it, apple.com didn't open up until 3:12 est and I had no information ready so took like 10 minutes to order. Matte black 128gb plus delivered on 9/16, in the middle of the order it changes to delivers Oct 4-10, bleh. But I checked out and my confirmation email, and the website says 9/16. Also got a gold one for my wife I can pick up at the store 9/16. Looks like the black pluses sold out pretty quickly.
 
I went for the 7+ 128GB rose gold. I tried to order through att.com since the AppleStore wasn't working. AT&T was being a jerk and said my credit card wasn't able to be processed. Finally get through to Apple. I'm still on my mom's plan and the phone was shipping to her house and I didn't want that, so I had to go to AT&T and change my billing address. During that time, shipping bumped up to 6-8 business days. I'm a sucker and paid for expedited shipping.

Although I really feel optimistic it will ship sooner than that. They are usually generous with the ship dates. We shall see!
 
Chose to buy an unlocked Verizon phone, and was prompted to enter my Verizon password.

After 3-5 attempts (password was entered correctly but the app store couldn't process for some reason), I was locked out from purchasing.

Extremely frustrated; this is the worst service from Apple. Worst pre-order to date.
