Yup, just talked to Verizon. The outright trade in value of me iphone 6 is $36.90 LOL. This isn't $36.90 credit per month since they have a trade in offer for the new iphone (which must have fine print since I obviously don't qualify). So I contacted verizon and they said it is $36 outright for my iphone 6 and they also told me to sell my phone somewhere else for more money. Gazelle is offering $190 lol.

Yes but proceed with caution. In the past this has not always worked well for everyone and may delay your order further
Reason being is I just noticed the rose gold 128 is still available for 16th delivery.

How would it delay my order? Apple won't let me cancel right now, so I may wait until I get that option

I'm wondering the same thing. Citizens One already charged my credit card the tax + first month's payment, but then put it back.
As long as you have the email from apple stating your expected/desired delivery date, you're good. You're phone, regardless of whether or not approved, will continue to move along its course. If there is an issue, apple will contact you and you will have 24 hours to correct the issue, which does not affect on your place in line. People in previous years have had their cards denied Monday and Tuesday when they are actually charged, even though everything seem fined Friday morning at preorder time. They still got their phones launch day as if nothing had happened, provided they corrected the credit card issue on time.

Ordered the iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 128gb 12 minutes after launch... Went with iPhone upgrade plan and had to put in info so that took awhile. My credit card is charged already. I have my Email confirmation. Estimated delivery date is 10/4-10/10. Ugh! So much for launch date lol

Lot 23E. Somewhere in Georgia.
Question:

I placed my Apple order already. If I go through at&t and order again, will I be able to cancel my apple order?

My reply to someone who asked that question a few minutes ago:

I tried something like this two years ago and completely hosed everything. The 2nd order went through, then got cancelled two days before launch day. Proceed at your own risk.

With all the system glitches, sometimes wrong orders get canceled, or inventory estimates are inaccurate.....it just ****s everything up

Eh, guess I'm better off to wait then.

I had rose gold last year and the white front just bothered me. Switched to the space grey and it's much better.

Hopefully the date gets bumped up due to people trying the "order cancelling". I'm one of those impatient people lol

I remember the fond day of FedEx (the loveliest and most beautiful sight) dropping my iPhone 4 off a day early. Ever since UPS took over, all my deliveries at multiple locations in different states have happened after 8PM. UPS is a worthless, worthless company and I sure hope FedEx is back in the running this year.

is it possible to change the shipping address and name after ordering?

Yes and no - if you bought your phone outright, you can call Apple during business hours and get things taken care of (although billing and shipping must match).

If you bought through a carrier, especially ATT, it will only ship to your ATT billing address.

Same with me ... couple min in to the order it was already Sept 26 but by the time i entered everything in it changed to the !0/4 - 10/10 date ... killing me, however, i leave this Saturday 9/10 until 9/25 out of the country anyway, so I'm not too worried about the current ship dates ...

What if for some reason you don't pass the credit check? Or would we not have received the confirmation if we didn't pass? I'm not sure how that works.

I knew black would be the rage so I just went with gold 256 ATT 7plus. I'll be using a cover anyway. Delivery on the 16th so happy about that

Tried to order via the iPhone Upgrade Program and in logging on the first few minutes, none of the 128GB 7+ Blacks or Jet Blacks were available in any store in the Los Angeles area. All said "Out of Stock"!!! How can this be in the first few minutes!!!

Kinda feel the people on the Upgrade program got screwed...especially when you see the announcement on the before and then the resulting after screen shots. I guess I'll either wait a few days and hope new reservations will open up. First time I was unsuccessful in securing my phone on the opening hour. :confused:o_O:(

I did the cancel method one year, one time, for the 5 or 5s I can't remember. I ordered from Apple, canceled because the ship date was too far out, ordered from ATT with great ship date, then their ship date got changed to one that was LATER than my original order ship date. I got ****ed in the ass

Well i "replaced current phone" through the Apple upgrade plan. But I am thinking I can't change it because it didn't let me alter the shipping address during check out process.

Welp, I got screwed for the first year ever.

Anyway, I got that message indicating an iPhone has been reserved for me and I'll receive an email when my carrier can be contacted. I really hope that's for the 16th.

That flagged my number, and I wasn't able to order via Next thereafter, but I was able to place an order for a full priced phone using the same number. The issue with that is it's going to deliver between the 27th and 29th. I'm also hoping that doesn't screw anything up with that reservation, which may be for the 16th.
