In the past, some orders for the following week have been pushed up, correct?

Does anyone know what the message about having one reserved means? Is that always for release day?

Can i change my shipping address from one state to other state? this will impact my tax. By mistake, i didn't see in the haste to order one, chose CT where it should have been CA. Will I be able to change the shipping address and still save the delivery on 9/16? please advise.

Got this because Apple couldn't connect to AT&T. They said it's reserved and will ship Sept. 13. Let's pray it's true.

Got the 256GB Silver Plus.

it doesn't matter where you are in the country if you're quoted 9/16 you're gonna get it on 9/16 provided UPS doesn't **** things up as is their norm

the tax shown may or may not be final anyway, so yes, it may change your tax

if you paid outright call apple to change your order information. if you did anything but pay outright, you're screwed. it's going where it's going

Yeah I posted this same thing a few pages back. The two things they say don't agree with each other.

Was there a faster shipping option? I was so concerned with getting my order in I didn't even look. If there was, can we upgrade our shipping at some point between now and when the phone actually ships?
I had a faster delivery option for $10 extra. When I clicked it my delivery time changed to two weeks later, then the $10 shipping upgrade disappeared!

The phones likely are not in the country yet, based on past ordering. They already are on the fastest track possible from factory to front door.

Stupid AT&T still doesn't have my company name in my billing address, despite them assuring me it was added last year, after me having to hunt down my FedEx guy on the streets of NYC. FedEx won't deliver in my office building without a company name on the box.

To avoid the same issue, since Apple wouldn't let me edit the address they have from AT&T, this time I chose Apple store pickup. But like an idiot, I entered my email address incorrectly (why it wasn't auto filled with my Apple ID email I don't understand). I confirmed this on my order status page at apple.com. It was off by one letter. This means that my confirmation email was sent to that address.

Does Apple check ID when picking up in store? Because someone out there potentially has the order number and billing address in an email I never got.

I chose unlocked T-Mobile 256 GB outright. Somehow Apple Pay chose previous address as shipping although billing address is my current address. Since i paid outright i should be able to make changes to the shipping and still get it on 9/16. is that what you mean?

One iPhone year we could track our orders all the way from China! We used our cell numbers and tracked by reference.

It was pretty cool.

yes

call immediately tomorrow and/or check the website in the morning to see if the option exists allowing you to change it without calling

what a crock! you got F'ed in the A!
At least they didn't charge me the extra $10.

Question,
Why does Bestbuy charge $100 for the same phone?
They show that I can pick up my 128 Verizon black in-store on the 16th, but I'm not paying the extra $100 dollars for the same contract free phone.

Anyone know if the carrier choice for the reservation (upgrade program) matters if they're compatible? E.g. choosing ATT if you're with T-Mobile, and vice versa.

My assumption is that I can always swap in my SIM during the pick-up and activate the phone then, but that's just my guess.

I'd be curious to see what selecting that option does, if anything, to your order. Please update back.

I can't answer your question because I don't buy Apple products from anywhere but Apple - this has always worked for me.
