That's odd - I did ATT pre-order (128gb 7 jet black) got October shipping dates since the ATT store was up about 10 min early. Then went to Apple App and did a no commitment purchase on my same line and it let me. Got 9/16 on that order. It did warn me I still had a balance on my ATT Next (for the one I had just purchased) but said I could still order.

I had zero problems with gold. That piano black is the problem.
 
For those that are trading in through the Apple Upgrade program, any idea if the person on the loan has to be there in person? My wife is on the loan, wondering if she has to come with me or not to trade the phone in.
 
I had a launch day AT&T 7 Plus 128gb Black, then the stupid site site hung up and kicked me out. I had to reorder, then The site show how placed two orders for me, one coming 9/27 and one 10/4. Annoying.
 
Used the iOS App and got the 7+ in Matte Black 128gb ordered at 3:07 EST and estimated delivery of 9/16. First time I've had the pleasure to get one on launch day.

Just have your wife set you as an authorized account user.
 
What a disaster. The app didn't come online for me until after the web browser. Then the app kept glitching out. Luckily was able to get a reservation in at a "nearby" store to trade in my current IUP.

No. The card won't be charged for the phone until it's ready to ship. Often case orders are processed and shipped immediately.
 
Got the White7 128 on app . All good
Then went browsing on the website and told my husband they still had the black. he said get it , you'll regret white. So I did...He's right.
Now the black only shows on website and iPhone . White on iPad only. How will I be able to cancel one ????
Got email for both .

Yeah, because you not knowing YOUR password to VERIZON is definitely, without a doubt, Apple's fault.

Got my 7 Black 128GB order in at 3:06am. The Apple Store app was slow to initially open. Delivers 9/16... Additionally my otterbox defender 7 case shipped today as well.

Yeah I posted this same thing a few pages back. The two things they say don't agree with each other.

Was there a faster shipping option? I was so concerned with getting my order in I didn't even look. If there was, can we upgrade our shipping at some point between now and when the phone actually ships?

Well...the jet black AT&T model is currently showing November delivery. While I'm not thrilled with my October date, it's better than November.
 
people need to understand that the pushed out shipping dates will often times change and more than likely will receive on launch day if you ordered within 10 minutes of apples site opening. Same for ATT i just chatted with a rep and she said the same thing. ESTIMATES. they will change

Yes but proceed with caution. In the past this has not always worked well for everyone and may delay your order further
