iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

Ended up going to Apple as a last resort. How accurate are they with dates? I'm looking at 10/4-10/10 for a 7+ 32GB at&t model

Wait, mine says "Ships in 6-8 business days" but then gives me a delivery estimate of the 27th-29th, which is 10-12 business days away. That doesn't make a ton of sense.

I don't get it either. I got the same thing. I had the Jet Black in my bag originally with the same delivery date. So I backed out and went with black because it had a September 16th date. Then the confirmation email says September 29th? WTF apple?

I wanted 7+ in jet black. All any of the stores in my area show is in rose gold. Not the color I want, but made reservation. Now thinking of cancelling. I am mad at myself for staying up so late for nothing. Congrats to those who got what they wanted.

Yeah I ordered literally as soon as it came up, and I started refreshing on my iMac, iPad, and iPhone at 2am CST.

I was seeing that for a bit too. As long as you have a confirmation email with the shipping date you were expecting, you're good.

Yes. I got a 256 GB "Black" model for 9/16 delivery. Had to go through the entire sign up process - my credit card has been charged by "IPHONE CITIZENSONELOAN".

Lucky. I had to go with the silver one with the ugly white front lol

It means it will SHIP in 6-8 days and will be DELIVERED sometime after that.

It didn't look like it was saying that. It just said trade in value $36. Didn't have a per month or anything like that.

Like stated before, I'd very well imagine these ship dates are conservative. I got 10/4-10/10. I'd imagine it will ship earlier. Obviously not launch day, but probably a few days early.

That is not the ship date. That is the "receive by" date. I just put in my order at Verizon for 128 gb 7+ Black and it said that I will receive it by the 23rd.

Yes, but when I click on "manage my order", it says:
Expected ship date
09/23/2016

128GB Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus on Sprint. First time a pre-order was anything but successful for me... not confident I'll be getting this on launch day.

Thru Apple the Jett black sold out at 12:04 pst a buddy got in at that time and both black were gone I got in at 12:03 pst and was able to get 4 plus 128gb Jett and black for 9/16 deivery

Damn, my family got screwed in Arizona. No Jet Black 128s for me early; mine says it will be delivered 10-4 to 10-10. My daughter was going to do the trade in/upgrade but no store in AZ will have anything accept Rose Gold on the 16th (she wants black) so she has to wait until after the 16th to order and reserve a pickup time. Meanwhile, my wife who does want the Rose Gold will get hers on the 16th and she doesn't even care all that much. Sad.

This was the lamest internet launch in a long time

It seems if you are on the upgrade plan, you have to go in store, and you are stuck with the color they are going to have. This is crap.

Looks like apple is having connectivity issues with carriers, try order through your carriers app.
