Wow, that's a long wait! A friend of mine is a Fedex driver, and she said that they all dread iPhone launch day, mainly because they have to bring so many back to the depot because people aren't home and don't leave signatures on their door.
Every year, from reading these forum posts, I'm worried that the CC is going to have long lines of iPhone pickup customers, but there are never more than 10. Today there were only 3 other people.
Well guys- its been fun. But I now have my iPhone 7 Plus in my hands It definitely has a lot 'warmer' screen compared to the 6s. But my first initial impression of the home button is... wow! I love it!

Not sure if anyone else is in the same boat as me. Ordered iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB in Black and got my email confirmation at 3:14AM EST on Friday the 9th. Status still sitting at Processing and ships in 2 - 3 weeks Oct 04 - Oct 10. Something doesn't seem right about this...BTW I used AT&T Next

It's going need to be a quick turnaround time from landing, to transferring to the local distribution center in Fife, and finally on a truck for delivery.

I ordered mine at 4 minutes after for the 7+ jet black 256GB and have window of the 21st-28th of September and nothing but Processing. Not a great feeling.

I was concerned there would be a long line as well, but when I showed up (about 20 minutes before they opened) there was only one other person waiting.

Haha thats not what I was getting at, more of the "coming to the dark side I see" figuratively and literally. But I understand babying of devices, all my phones until now have been babied but I also never dropped any of them or anything like that so this will be my first naked phone with a glass screen protector because I care too much about the screen to possible get it scratched some magical way, although so far i see the screen is strong enough to not get scratched in normal day use im just not brave enough yet, one step at a time.
Now I have to ask, why get the jet black if your never going to enjoy the beauty of it?

I went to the Pittsburgh CC around 11am and I was the only one there.
So happy for you all that got your phones today and for those with delay hopefully tomorrow at least by Monday! I'm stuck with the 2-3 weeks oct 4th-oct 10. Order confirmation came in at 3:22 EST with the site and app not working. At least my series 2 watch shipped today a week early so hoping the same luck happens with my phone!
Hope everybody had a fantastic launch day today, and that those of you who had their iPhones forgotten about in Asia or delayed get them ASAP.
I'm absolutely in love with the 7 Plus. I didn't think it'd be *that* big of an upgrade from my 6s Plus, but it certainly is. The 6s Plus wasn't a slouch, it was super snappy... this thing, it's literally instantaneous. You give it a command or do something, and it completes it pretty much instantly as soon as you tap. Battery life is great. I've been downloading apps and doing battery-intensive stuff (as setting up a new iPhone always is) since 9 AM EST today. It had 95% out of the box, I'm still at 25% right now.
The camera is great, but I'm holding judgment until they release the software update for the Bokeh effect.
The 3.5mm adapter isn't even that big of a deal for me personally. I use Lightning for my car stereo and they included the adapter in the box. But man, it is one tiny cable! I'm just going to leave it constantly attached to the cable of my QC25's and use Lightning on my iPad Pro as well. Probably going to grab an extra adapter or two from the Apple Store for when it inevitably goes missing.

I've been hanging out in the 4 Oct-10 Oct thread, no movement. Hope you all are enjoying your new toys!
Still no idea where my phone is. Apple said they can't do anything because it still says it is coming today. UPS says it isn't coming, they don't know when, and I should just keep watching it. I had stuff to do today, have stuff to do tomorrow, and can't take Monday off, so this totally sucks. =\ Wish they would at least tell me something so I can plan for it!

I went to the UPS location today at 4 PM (the customer service area closes at 9 PM). I stayed until I was the last person but was told at 11 PM that they can't find it + probably lost it.
The customer rep told me that I could either wait for the package in hopes that it pops up somewhere or just claim it as lost with Apple. I was too exhausted, hungry, dehydrated to be mad so I just left. I'm not sure what route I should take. Any thoughts?
